Please post! I'm writing a Warrior Cat story for my best friend for her birthday. I've only gotten into the second chapter, but it's what I can do in like, five minutes. LOL. So, here it is: Prologue: Looking down at the Sandclan, Blackfur stood proudly on the top of the hollow. Down in the hollow was his Clan; many cats walked around, some slept in their den, and some were gone out in a patrol. But he suddenly heard a twig crack behind him, and he turned around; it was just his mate, Shadowpelt. She was swelling up from the kits that were growing in her body. “You’ll make a fine leader, Blackfur.” She said in a comforting tone. “Your kits will be so proud of you. When they’re elders, they’ll tell stories of how their father fought strongly, yet he took care of his kits. They’ll tell stories of their great ancestor who used to be a kittypet, yet fought like a warrior.” She looked at her mate. “His greatness is strong in you, Blackfur.” “Yes, I know, Shadowpelt. But I’m going to be a leader in this Clan some day. I just have to know when.” “Snowstar is getting old, and she’ll become an elder before we know it. She’ll have to give the ceremony sometime soon. But first, we have to get our package delivered before we think about any kind of leadership, alright?” “Alright, Shadowpelt. Your kits will be born, and then I will become leader.” Shadowpelt smiled at Blackfur, and then walked away. Sorry, Shadowpelt; I’m not as loyal as you think. Chapter 1 Blackfur padded around the woods with his head low and his ears back. He searched for the scent of one of the other cats he had run into a few moons ago. He finally picked up the scent of the other cat; it smelled of Shadow-clan. He picked up the pace and ran toward the trail. He finally found the other cat, and Blackfur gasped. This so-called friend he had met from the Shadowclan had a patrol waiting to attack. Blackfur ran back toward the camp direction at his top speed. He got to the edge of the hollow and urgently meowed, “Help! There’s a-there’s a Shadowclan p-patrol! I saw-I saw them! I think they’re going to attack!” All the cats looked up at Blackfur, and they returned to their duties. But, all of a sudden, they heard cats screeching. All the warriors that were awake went to the top of the hollow. Blackfur wondered where the Snowstar was, but he shook the thought out of his head and went down into the hollow, got onto the Highrock and announced a meeting. All the kits, queens, elders, and warriors came out of their dens. “It’s urgent! There’s a patrol of Shadowclan cats, and they’re attacking! We have to fight back!” The queens looked down at their kits, scared stiff. “Queens, kits, go back to the nursery and hide. Same with you, elders.” The queens, elders and kits went back to the nursery. “Brackentail, I need you to organize the parties quickly. We don’t have much time.” Brackentail nodded and started commanding the warriors. Once all the warriors were set, Snowstar padded into camp. “What in the name of Starclan is this?” Snowstar scolded. “One of my warriors-on the Highrock; the elders and kits hiding in the nursery? Blackfur, explain to me what is going on!” “Well, Snowstar,” Blackfur meowed, “if you wanted to know, why were you absent again? Why weren’t you here to protect your clan? Why weren’t you here to take control when we needed you? Where, in the name of Star-clan, were you?” “Don’t you dare insult my authority!” growled Snowstar. “I might as well throw you out of the camp!” “Insult your authority? I was just asking where you were!” Snowstar growled again, but the Shadowclan cats came down into the hollow. Snowstar gasped when he saw that Shadowclan had more than just a patrol, they had all their clan pouring down on them! “Queens! We need your help! Fight with us!” Beckoned Snowstar. One of the queens came out of the den, saw how many cats there were, and went back in the den. The queens came charging out, along with the elders. “Why in the name of Starclan are the elders coming out?” asked Snowstar as one of the queens passed. “They wanted to fight.” Replied the queen. She ran to one of the attacking Shadowclan warriors. Blackfur growled at one of the Shadowclan warriors he thought’s the name of the warrior was Frosttail. He unsheathed his claws and scratched the warriors’ eyes. Blackfur lunged for the warrior and sunk his claws deep into the flesh of the warrior. He got off, rolled the warrior over, and started raking the enemy’s soft belly. Frosttail screeched in pain, and finally, he went limp. Blackfur lunged at another enemy. All the warriors of Sandclan were getting weak, and the warriors of Shadowclan were still full of energy. All hope seemed to be lost for Sandclan, up until they heard a war cry of another clan. “Just what we need; more cats to fight.” Blackfur thought. One of the new warriors lunged at Blackfur, but they missed, and hit a Shadowclan warrior. The warrior that just missed Blackfur started to scratch and bite the warrior. The rest of the new warriors attacked Shadowclan with the strength of Starclan. A few minutes later, all the Shadowclan warriors were gone. Both of the clans watched the Shadowclan flee from the Sandclan hollow. Blackfur turned to look at the other clan and said, “What was that all about?” The leader of the clan turned to Blackfur. “One of our patrols was on the border, and they could hear the screeching and howling. They returned to our camp, and we decided to help you.” Blackfur sniffed the leader. “You don’t smell like any clan I’ve ever smelled.” “That’s because we have recently gotten back up on our paws, and we are a thriving clan.” “What is the name of your clan?” “We are the Thunderclan.”

Does anyone else like it? Yay! I have chapter 2 done! So, here it is: Chapter 2 “The Thunderclan? I’ve never heard of that one.” Growled Snowstar. “Well, when I was a kit, I heard an elder tell a story of the great Firestar. I heard of the Thunderclan, and I wanted to know what happened to it. So, I asked him what happened to the Thunderclan, and apparently, they got into a war, and they lost. So, I brought the Thunderclan back up and we’re happy and healthy.” “What is your name?” Asked Blackfur. “I’m Thunderstar.” “Nice to meet you, Thunder-” “Get out of our camp, Thunderstar!” Growled Snowstar. Thunderstar nodded. He got up and called all of the Thunderclan to get ready to leave. “Wait, Thunderstar,” Meowed Blackfur. Thunderstar turned around. “Thank you for helping us win the battle.” Thunderstar nodded. “In the name of Starclan, we couldn’t just let you guys die out like the Thunderclan. We’d rather die to save a clan that needs our help, than to stay alive and have another clan dead. Consider it a friendly donation.” Thunderstar turned around and led his clan back to their camp. Snowstar turned around to go back to his den, but he fell on his side. As if she heard it happen, Silverleaf rushed over to Snowstar. She checked everything that could be checked while her apprentice, Brownpaw, tended to all of the other cats. Brownpaw was born to be a medicine cat. She tended to all the warriors quickly. While Brownpaw tended, Silverleaf ran over to the Highrock and announced, “All cats in the Sandclan well enough, report to the Highrock for a meeting.” All the cats, including kits, rushed to the Highrock. “You’re not supposed to be up there, Silverleaf!” Shouted one of the warriors. “All the cats in the Sandclan, I have urgent news; Snowstorm is dead.” Yowls of disapproval went through the crowd. “And, when he comes back, it’s going to be his last life.” Snowstar went through the crowd, and climbed up onto the Highrock with Silverleaf. “You heard Silverleaf; it’s my last life. I hate to say it, but we must have a new leader.” Sliverleaf stepped down, and Snowstorm looked through the crowd. “Your new leader is Blackfur.” Yowls of disapproval and disagreement went through the crowd. “And, since I’m on my last life, I must retire and go to the elders’ den. Blackfur, step up onto the Highrock.” Blackfur went up on the Highrock, and Snowstar announced, “The next full moon, Blackfur shall go to the Highstones to gain his new name as Blackstar, and to gain his nine lives. May Starclan guide you.” Snowstar jumped down from the Highrock and slowly walked to the elders’ den. Blackfur also jumped down. He went to talk to his friend, Lightningface. He saw Lightningface in the Warriors’ den. Had his friend not gone to the ceremony of his Leadership? He shook the thought out of his head and walked over to his head. But, his friend was sleeping on his heather, so Blackfur walked out of the den. He thought of another cat he could go to; Shadowpelt! He ought to go tell her the great news. Without thinking about the deal he and Shadowpelt made, he ran across the hollow and up the slope to try to get Shadowpelt’s scent. He finally found it, and ran toward it. When he finally found Shadowpelt, she was laying on the ground with blood dripping out of her belly, and scratches all over her body. He looked at her, and she was motionless. She was dead. YES!!! Three chapters in one day! XD Chapter 3 “Remember that, Shadowpelt?” Asked Blackfur. He thought talking to her would make him feel better. But, she was with Starclan, so there was nothing he could do about it. “Yeah, we had some good times.” He smiled. He looked up at the sky. He thought about some of the things he would do when he was leader. Then, he thought about Shadowpelt. He looked back at her, and suddenly, she gulped for air. Blackfur’s eyes widened and he stepped back. Shadowpelt got up, stretched, and looked at Blackfur with widened eyes. And if her coming back to life wasn’t creepy enough, her wounds started to heal quickly. “Uh, Blackfur, I think there’s something I haven’t told you yet.” She said. “Shadowpelt? Is that you? You just-really?” “Blackfur, I need to talk to you.” She sat down, waiting patiently for Blackfur to sit down also. He sat down, waiting for Shadowpelt to talk. Shadowpelt took a deep breath. “Blackfur, I used to be the leader of a clan. The clan died out, and I almost died. I was on my last life when the others attacked. We were a good clan, nice and healthy until the clan attacked. All of the warriors, kits, queens, and elders died. I was the only survivor. So, I ran away from the madness, and I went to the Highstones to speak to Starclan. They restored my body, and they gave me my nine lives back. They said that since I was a great leader I could be rewarded with my lives again. So, after that, I ran away, and I ran to the closest shelter, which was your clan. And, when I want to the Highstones, they gave me the ability to receive messages from them. I received the message that Shadowclan was going to attack, and since I had kits, I dare not fight them. I ran away from the camp so that I don’t risk the lives of my kits. Also, Starclan said that since I was a great leader, all my kits will have the gift of five lives, and when they become leaders, instead of getting four more lives, they got nine more. My kits have already wasted one life, and I’m not letting them lose any more. I have to protect my kits from any harm.” She sighed and smiled at Blackfur. Blackfur looked at her, and he remembered what he was going to tell her. “Shadowpelt, when the Shadowclan warriors attacked, Snowstar lost another life. He’s on his last one now, and he retired to the elders’ den. Before he did, he had a ceremony for the new leader.” Shadowpelt looked at him excitedly. “Shadowpelt, I’m the new leader!” Shadowpelt squealed like a kit in excitement. She licked him behind the ear, and then playfully wrestled with him. A few moments later, they stopped fighting, and Shadowpelt jumped up and down. “This is so exciting! You’re the new leader! I can’t wait! We’re both leaders of clans! Oh, Blackfur, I am just so happy!” “Also, I’m going to be going to the Highstones in a half-moon! Plus, my leader name will be Blackstar! That’s going to be so fun!” Soon enough, Blackfur found himself jumping up and down just like Shadowpelt. The happy mates happily ran back to camp. Chapter 4
A week after the battle between Shadowclan, Sandclan, and Thunderclan, Shadowpelt had her kits. One of the queens told Blackfur the news, and he immediately called a meeting.
“Everyone!” Blackfur called. “Shadowpelt’s having my kits and they’re coming! She’s having the kits right now! Oh, Starclan, I can’t contain my excitement!”
A few minutes after his meeting, Silverleaf came out of the nursery. She ran to the Highrock and announced, “Shadowpelt’s kits have finally arrived, and they are beautiful! Four of them, to be exact! But before any of you see them, the father must see them first.”
Blackfur hastily jumped down and ran to the nursery at his top speed. When he got there, he saw four large kits suckling. Shadowpelt looked at Blackfur and smiled.
“There are three boys and one girl.” She said.
“They’re beautiful.”
There were two black kits, a dark gray kit, and a light gray kit.
“Blackfur, there’s also something else you didn’t know.” With the flick of her tail, the queens walked out of the den.
Shadowpelt sighed. “Before I was the leader of the other clan, I had kits. I don’t remember anything about the father, I remember the kits weren’t very pretty, but I loved them, and I watched them grow. That’s when the attack happened, and…well, you know…”
“Well, that’s the past, and this is now. Just focus one what’s happening now.”
The big black kit stopped suckling and looked at his father. The kit stumbled over to his dad and lightly mewed, “Daddy!” The kit rubbed his father with his head. The second black kit stumbled to his dad and did the same thing. The other two kits did the same. Blackfur smiled and lowered down. He let the kits play on him. “They’re perfect.” He whispered. Soon the kits went back to their mother to play with her. Blackfur got up and smiled. He walked out of the den and climbed up on the Highrock.
“All cats in the Sandclan, report to the Highrock for a clan meeting.” All the cats came to sit near the Highrock.
“As tradition, at Moonhigh, we will have a naming ceremony for my new kits!” He looked at his mate and kits. “Come and show the rest of the clan your kits!”
Shadowpelt nodded and got up. She walked through the crowd with her kits following. All the cats sitting near the Highrock started to purr at the sight of the newborn kits. The kits stood proud next to their mother.
“Those two black ones look just like their parents!” Shouted one of the warriors.
“Yes, they’re beautiful!” Meowed one of the queens.
“I bet they’ll be perfect warriors and leaders just like their father.” Said Lightningface.
Blackfur mrrowed, “You may go back to your activities.” The cats, one by one, left the Highrock. Blackfur jumped down and walked to Shadowpelt.
“What would you like their names to be?”
She thought for a moment, and said, “The big black one shall be Coalkit, the other black kit shall be Brackenkit, the dark gray shall be Smokekit, and the light one shall be Silverkit.”
“Good names. I shall announce them tonight.” The mother and kits hurried to the nursery, and Blackfur looked up. The moon was rising, and he must wait to announce the names. But the problem was, it was hard to wait. He was anxious to call the names of his new kits. He had to find something else to do while he waited that got his mind off of the ceremony. Instead, he went to the warriors’ den to find Lightningface. He thought it would be good to go hunting in the cool night air. Chapter 5
“All cats in the Sandclan report to the Highrock for a clan meeting.”
Blackfur’s plan of going hunting to get the thought of the ceremony didn’t work. But, he did get more fresh-kill for the clan. When they got back, it was Moonhigh, and he needed to do the ceremony.
“As we all know, it’s Moonhigh, and we need to call the names of our new kits! Shadowpelt, please put the kits in front of the Highrock.”
She nodded and the kits followed her to the front of the Highrock. They all smiled with pride.
“Large black kit, your new name shall be Coalkit,” announced Blackfur. Chants of the new name went through the crowd. Coalkit stood even prouder now.
“Smaller black kit, your new name shall be Brackenkit,” announced Blackfur. Even more chants went through the crowd. Brackenkit stood taller and prouder.
“Darker gray kit, your new name shall be Smokekit,” Announced Blackfur. The chants kept getting louder for each kit. Smokekit did the same as Coalkit and Brackenkit.
“And, lighter gray kit, your new name shall be Silverkit!” Silverkit stood up taller and prouder.
“So, our new kits’ names are Coalkit, Brackenkit, Smokekit, and Silverkit!” said Blackfur.
Chants of the new kits’ names got louder and louder. “Coalkit! Brackenkit! Smokekit! Silverkit!” They chanted.
“Kits, come up onto the Highrock.” Commanded Blackfur. “Let the whole clan see you!”
All the kits walked proudly up onto the Highrock, slipping on the way up. Thankfully, the slope wasn’t too steep, so they got it within a few tries. The kits stood next to each other on the Highrock, and they stood proudly.
“In six moons,” Blackfur announced, “I will appoint mentors for these great warrior kits. Whoever these mentors may be will be appointed by how well they fight and hunt. Within those six moons, you could gain warrior skills and hunting skills. May Starclan guide you all.” Blackfur went down the Highrock, guiding his new kits. He guided them to their mother, who took them to the nursery to be fed. Blackfur walked over to the fresh-kill pile and took a robin. He started walking over to the warriors’ den, but then he realized that he was the leader; not officially, but the entire clan thought of him as the leader, so he went over to the den near the Highrock. He went in, and the bedding smelled fresh; as if someone laid it down recently. He lay down on the moss, started crunching on his robin and finished it quickly. He curled up on the bedding and went to sleep.

Sorry I didn't post this one sooner. I was playing on the faster computers, so I couldn't put this up. So, here it is: Chapter 6 Coalkit found a piece of fuzz lying on the ground, and he picked it up with his paw. To his amazement, it slowly went down. He threw it into the air again, and he pounced on it when it got close enough. It went back into the air, and he jumped for it; it was a successful catch. He went to the den near the Highrock to show his dad. He proudly went into the den and laid down his catch. “Daddy! I caught something! Come look!” he said happily. Blackfur looked at his half-moon-old kit. He saw the pride that was in his kit. “Well done, Coalkit. You will be one of the greatest warriors of all time!” The kit walked over to his dad and rubbed him with his head. Blackfur lowered his head and licked the kit lovingly. The kit looked up at his daddy and smiled a big smile, and then left the den. Later that day, Blackfur would have to go to Highstones to claim his nine lives and name as Blackstar. He was nervous about it, and he had a bit of feeling that didn’t want to go. But it was required, and if he didn’t go, Starclan would punish him. He took a deep breath and walked out of his den. It was already sunset, and he had to choose the warriors to go with him. He climbed onto the Highrock and said, “All cats old enough to catch their own prey, report to the Highrock for a clan meeting.” Once all the cats were finished getting ready, Blackfur announced, “Tonight is the night of the Full moon. I shall choose warriors to accompany me to the Highstones.” He looked through the crowd. “I choose Lightningface, Brindletail, Robinsong, and Lightheart. We will see to Silverleaf’s den after the meeting.” He also announced, “When I return, I will address another meeting to report what I have seen on the journey to the Highstones.” He excused the other cats and padded over to Lightningface, Brindletail, Robinsong and Lightheart. “Go to Silverleaf’s den to receive herbs that will hold off your hunger.” The warriors nodded and padded over to the Medicine cat’s den. Blackfur slowly followed them. Brackenkit went over to his dad. “Daddy, where are you going?” He asked. “Well, I’m going to Silverleaf’s den right now so that I can get some leaves that will settle my hunger, and then I’m going to be going to the Highstones. I’ll be getting my nine lives there, and my name of Blackstar.” “Can I go with you?” asked Silverkit. “I’m sorry, Silverkit, but it’ll be too dangerous. I can’t have you die at such a young age.” “Okay.” Sulked Silverkit. She folded her ears back, lowered her head, and walked away slowly. “Then, can I go with you?” Asked Brackenkit. His eyes held excitement. “It’s the same circumstances with you, Brackenkit.” Replied Blackfur. “So, go play with one of the other kits.” Brackenkit looked down and frowned. But the he looked back up at his dad and smiled. “I can go play with Silverkit, and Smokekit!” “Then go find them! I’m sure they’d love to play with you.” The young kit happily pranced off to the nursery, while Blackfur padded over to Silverleaf’s den. He arrived when Robinsong was leaving. “Yuck! Those leaves taste awful! I might as well roll in fox dung and then lick myself!” Complained Robinsong. “They’re the worst things I’ve ever tasted! They’re-” “Shut it, Robinsong. They aren’t that bad!” Scolded Lightningface. “I’d rather go fight in a solo battle against all Shadowclan than to hear you complain!” “You two, I’m ready to cut your flesh and put deathberries in it!” complained Silverleaf. Brindletail barged in. “Be quiet, both of you! Robinsong, they do taste tart, but they are bearable. Lightningface, don’t wish you were in a solo battle with Shadowclan! You know you’d be crowfood by the time the tenth warrior gets to you!” “Yeah, but it’s better than hearing Robinsong complain…” mumbled Lightningface. “Hearing the way you two talk about it,” Said Blackfur, “I probably don’t even want to thinkabout trying them!” “Oh! Blackfur!” said Silverleaf. “Come in, you need these herbs; they’ll subside the hunger for the journey.” Blackfur went into the elevated den and saw a bundle of leaves and berries. “The berries,” explained Silverleaf, “are to settle your stomach until you get back - and that should be about Sunhigh tomorrow. The leaves are to help with muscle fatigue.” “Thank you, Silverleaf.” Blackfur thanked. “Well, it’s my duty to serve this clan as a medicine cat, so there’s no need to thank me.” “I thought it would be nice to thank you for the service you have brought to this clan…” “Oh, shush and eat the leaves and herbs already! It’s almost sunset and you’re losing time.” Blackfur quickly ate the bundle and grimaced; they did taste awful. But he gulped them down and nodded to Silverleaf. “Blackfur, have you noticed anything strange with Robinsong?” asked Silverleaf. “Not in particular. Why?” Blackfur asked. “Well, I noticed she’s getting…larger, like she’s getting fat. Now, you know that it’s the ending of leafbare, and we still haven’t caught any more fresh-kill than we did in the middle of leafbare. I’m thinking Robinsong has kits on the way.” “Kits? Robinsong, has kits? What makes you think that?” Blackfur asked in bewilderment. “Well, she’s showing all the signs of bearing kits. Who do you think the father is?” “I’m not sure, but it’s certainly not me.” He got up and left the den and noticed that his warriors weren’t waiting for him. He followed their scent trail, and it led straight into Shadowclan territory. “Fox dung! Why would they go to Shadowclan territory?” Chapter 7 Blackfur cautiously followed his companions’ scent trail. They had gone into Shadowclan territory, and he had to go get them before it was too late. But before he could think of anything, another cat lunged at him and hit him on his side. They both fell over, but Blackfur got up faster, and he got ready to fight. But, it was useless, because it was just Lightningface. “You know, Blackfur,” Said Lightningface, “if that was a Shadowclan warrior, you’d be crowfood.” “Not necessarily.” Robinsong interrupted. “Well, if we were all Shadowclan warriors, you’d definitely be crowfood.” Lightningface pointed out. “Well, before we do turn to crowfood, we have to leave here; we don’t want an angry patrol of Shadowclan warriors coming.” “I agree,” said Robinsong, “We can’t take any chances.” Just then, they heard a rustle of leaves behind them. They all got into warrior positions, but it was for nothing; it was just Snowstar. “Snowstar?” Asked Robinsong. “What are you doing here?” “I was, uh, well, I was…hunting! Yes, I was hunting!” he stuttered. “You’re an elder now,” said Blackfur, “you should be sleeping and not ‘hunting’ in Shadowclan territory. Besides, if one of us did that, you’d have us banished from the clan by now.” “Yes,” Robinsong agreed, “you’re an elder. Elders aren’t to hunt, they are to tell stories, and sleep.” “So, what were you really doing?” Questioned Brindletail. The old leader sighed. “I was meeting up with some friends in Shadowclan territory. Yes, I know, it was a stupid thing for an elder to do because of their limited abilities, but he was an old buddy of mine, and I recently got back in touch with him.” “Well, how did you get back in touch with your old buddy?” asked Robinsong. “Robinsong, the bad thing about you is that you talk too much.”
“Don’t change the subject, elder! Tell me what you were doing!” Blackfur demanded. “Fine! I was serving the Shadowclan warriors because there’s a debt to be paid! They saved my tail, and I had to repay them before my life was over! There, you happy now?” “Not quite.” Replied Blackfur. “I want to know what you did, and not why you did it.” “You got me; I was telling the Shadowclan our weaknesses, and that now is the best time to attack since you’re gone. See? I told you what I was doing. Now let me go back to camp.” “No, I think you should stay with Shadowclan. That’s where you really belong, since you’re more loyal to them than to us.” Lightningface said. “I serve my purpose in Sandclan. Now go on your mission to the Highstones.” Blackfur looked up at the moon; it was almost Moonhigh. “Yes, we must go. Lightningface, Robinsong, Brindletail, let’s move.” The quartet turned around and ran toward the Highstones. They arrived just before the moon was turning high. From all the trips I’ve made to the Highstones, this has been the shortest. It shouldn’t have taken that short of time. Blackfur thought. “Okay, I’ll take with me Brindletail. You two, keep an eye out; warn us if there are any other predators around that want to come in.” Blackfur nodded to them, and ran into the abandoned mineshaft. Chapter 8 Blackstar walked in the abandoned mineshaft. He saw the Moonstone and walked toward it. He padded over to it and lowered down. He touched his head to it and saw a vision in his head. He saw one cat on a Highrock leading thousands of cats to war. He gasped when he noticed the cat on the Highrock; it was himself. Behind him was a spirit that looked like a cat, but it had to be a Starclan cat. “One leader to conquer all; One leader to give all; One leader to quickly fall; One leader to lose all.” Said the spirit. Then the spirit vanished. The leader on the Highrock fell, but quickly got him back up. Then the spirit looked straight at Blackstar like she was standing in front of him. “Blackstar, my name is Sand star and I have a very important message for you; I know Snowstar told you he told Shadowclan the time to attack. But he also told them you’re new into the ruling and you don’t know much about how to rule. Do not seek his advice for how to lead a clan through attack – he will tell you lies that will cripple you instantly. To save your clan from any harm, banish Snowstar from your clan and make him join Shadowclan. Also, we’re holding the Shadowclan back as much as possible. We’re tricking them into thinking the old cat is crazy now and didn’t tell the truth, and we’re telling them that you had left before the cat got there so that they would think you were already back at camp.” She paused. “Be careful, son.” Then Blackstar woke up. Lightningface woke him up and said, “I’m getting scared in here.” “Scared? You’re a warrior! Warriors are fierce and never get scared.” Blackstar got up and stretched and said, ‘Let’s go.” They both ran out of Mothermouth. Blackstar smiled and tried to look happy. He said, “I just spoke to Starclan. They granted me my nine lives and new name, and I also got to tell them about Snowstar, and they said they knew about it, and that he should be punished; they said that his punishment is being banished from the clan, and he is to go join Shadowclan.” “That’s basically what we said.” Mumbled Brindletail. “Yes, it is, but Starclan has more authority over us than we do over one cat. Whatever they say goes. Also, they said that the next new moon I am to come back and they will exchange dreams with me.” Blackstar turned to Brindletail. “Brindletail, I know you wanted to get the leader position, but I’ll somehow make sure you get it soon enough. “Thanks.” Brindletail mumbled. “Lightningface, I hear Whitestripe has a crush on you.” Said Blackstar. Lightningface’s eyes gleamed with joy. “Robinsong, I hear you have kits on the way. Silverleaf told me.” Robinsong stared at the new leader. “I…I…I don’t feel like I’m bearing kits. Do I look like I am?” “Well, you’re swelling up, and that’s a big sign.” Brindletail replied “I…can’t believe it! Now, let’s go back to camp; I need to see Silverleaf.” Robinsong said. “Indeed, we are going to go back to camp.” Blackstar agreed. “Wait, Blackstar.” Said Lightningface. “Does Whitestripe really have a crush on me?” “You’d better believe it.” Replied Blackstar. With the flick of Blackstar’s tail, they turned to the direction of camp, and they ran in that direction.
Oh dear, my my my. I've made a few typos. First, I said Snowstar is a She-cat in the beginning, second, I said Sand star instead of Sandstar, and third, I said Blackfur ran into the mothermouth, but then I said he walked into it. Oh dear, I made a few typos. Okay, got 'nother one done. Chapter 9 “All cats old enough to catch their own prey, report to the Highrock for a clan meeting; even the elders.” Blackstar, Lightningface, Robinsong, and Brindletail had recently gotten back from their mission to Mothermouth. Blackstar had to tell everyone about Snowstar. “This may surprise you all, but our newest elder, Snowstar, is a traitor.” Yowls of disagreement went through the crowd. “Do you have any proof?” hissed one of the warriors. “I do; Lightningface, Robinsong, Brindletail, come up and tell them what you saw on our way to Mothermouth.” “Robinsong is in Silverleaf’s den right now.” Brindletail pointed out. “Okay, fine; Lightningface and Brindletail, tell them what you saw.” The two cats went up to the front of the Highrock. Lightningface spoke up. “Cats of Sandclan, on our journey to the Highstones, we saw Snowstar come out of Shadowclan territory. He said that he was hunting, but we didn’t believe him, so we asked him again. He said that he was meeting a friend in Shadowclan territory, and we still didn’t believe him. So, we asked once more, and he said that they saved his tail, and he had to repay them. We asked him what he did for them, and he said that now is the best time to fight, because they are leaderless. Be prepared for Shadowclan warriors to-” Snowstar bursted away from the meeting, hoping nobody would notice. “Catch him!” Blackstar ordered. The best warriors went after the elder, and a few moments later, they carried him back to camp. “Although Starclan has ordered us to release him, we can’t trust him; put him in the prisoners’ den. And keep watching him.” Said Blackstar. The cats that got Snowstar put him in the prisoners’ den and watched him. “In other news, I had a message from Starclan when I went to Mothermouth. I was on a Highrock leading thousands of cats to war, and a spirit told me, ‘One leader to conquer all; One leader to give all; One leader to quickly fall; One leader to lose all.’ Or something likes that. She also told me to be careful in this near battle.” Soon after he finished the last sentence, they heard yowling of fighting cats. It was Snowstar and one of he guards fighting. Two of the warriors got up and ran toward the fighting cats. “Prepare yourselves for a battle. Queens, elders, hide in the nursery. Warriors, wake all sleeping warriors if there are any. Then find the Thunderclan, we need their help again.” This reminded Blackstar of the first war, when Snowstar was missing, so he had to take control. He shook the thought out of his head and looked down at Lightningface and Brindletail. They looked up at him with scared eyes. “Lightningface, Brindletail, I need you guys to go find that Thunderclan.” Blackstar ordered. They nodded and ran at their top speed to the top of the hollow. Blackstar sighed and jumped down from the Highrock, almost squishing Coalkit. The kit squeaked and smiled up at his dad. But instead of smiling back, Blackstar picked up the kit by the scruff and ran to the nursery. He set the kit down next to Shadowpelt. “Blackstar, I want to fight.” She said. “No, Shadowpelt. You have kits to care for, so I don’t want you to fight.” He said. “They’re almost to the age when they can start eating fresh-kill. Please, let me fight.” “No!” He hissed. “Stay in the nursery and watch the kits; I don’t want them getting out to fight either.” He turned and left the crowded den. Shadowpelt got up and ran after the leader. “Blackstar, I can fight. I want to fight. Let me fight.” She said. “You’ve got kits to care for. I can’t have my kits go without a mother to feed them.” “They’re almost to the age where they can eat fresh-kill! Please, let me fight!” She pleaded. “No!” He growled. “I love you, Shadowpelt! I don’t want you to die, understand?” “Yes, Blackstar.” She bowed her head, but didn’t come back up. “Just remember that your kits look up to you, and they love you. If their role model doesn’t want his mate to fight, then that’s what they’ll do when they’re older – even when they desperately need her help.” “Shadowpelt, we don’t ‘desperately’ need your help. Lightningface and Brindletail are on their way to get the Thunderclan. So go back to the-” “Shut it, Blackstar.” She growled. “Why would I do that?” “Just, go into your den and hide there. If the clan doesn’t need my help, they don’t need your help.” “What do you mean?” “What I mean is, you’re making me do something I don’t want to do.” “Just go back to the nursery and hide.” She got close to him and whispered, “If I lose a life, I’ll go back and hide, okay?” Blackstar sighed. “Fine, but if you lose one life, you’re going to the nursery again.” She looked at him and said, “Thank you, Blackstar.” She went back to the nursery to tell the queens to watch her kits. She came back out and padded to Silverleaf’s den. Robinsong was walking out just as Shadowpelt went in. “Silverleaf, I need to ask you a question.” Shadowpelt meowed. Silverleaf turned around to look at the black she-cat. “Yes? What is it?” “Well, I know how medicine cats have the ability to speak with Starclan. My question is, can you tell them something?” “No, I can’t. But I can enter the Starclan area, but that takes lots of time, and that’s only for a meeting.” Shadowpelt sat down. “A meeting? You mean, like, you and Starclan can talk?” “Not quite, but close.” Silverleaf also sat down to explain. “The other medicine cats in the clans go into the Starclan area, and they talk about how their progress is, and they talk about wanting an apprentice, and other things that only concern Medicine cats. But, if any cat other than the leader or Medicine cat go into the Starclan area, they automatically get thrown into the pits.” “The pits? What are those?” “Basically, when you die, you go to Starclan. But, if you do bad things like the Shadowclan do, then you get thrown into the pits. You can’t do anything in the pits once you get thrown into them.” “Sounds bad.” “They’re very bad,” Silverleaf chuckled. “Also, um, it’s hard to talk about it, but I lived in a different clan. I became the leader of that clan, but it got attacked and the clan died out. I was the only survivor. The only thing I could think to do was go to Mothermouth and get my lives back. So, I got them back and I came to a clan that was close, which was this one. I told Blackstar about it, and no one else. Silverleaf, how many lives do I have left?” Silverleaf looked at Shadowpelt with patient eyes. “Well, if I’m correct, you’ve got three left.” “THREE!? But I got nine lives last time I went to Mothermouth! I’ve only lost…six…” “Shadowpelt, you really need to be more careful with your lives.” “I know, but I didn’t think about how many lives I have left. Well, thank you Silverleaf for your time.” “Well, I have dedicated my time, food, and service to this clan – it’s what I do!” “Thank you.” Shadowpelt nodded to the Medicine cat, stood up, and walked out of the den. She turned around and asked, “Is Robinsong sick?” “No, why do you ask?” “She was walking out of your den when I was coming in here, so…” “She’s going to be kitting in about a half-moon.” “Really?” “Yup.” Shadowpelt nodded again and walked away from the den. She was bursting in excitement for her friend Robinsong. She padded to the warriors’ den to congratulate her friend. “Hey, Robinsong!” She greeted. Robinsong was curling up to go to sleep, but she uncurled at sat up. “Hey, Shadowpelt! Aren’t you supposed to be in the nursery?” “Blackstar is letting me fight.” She replied. “Ah. So, um, how are your kits?” “They’re fine. I want to talk to you about kits.” Robinsong looked at Shadowpelt with wide eyes. “I-I’m listening.” “I know you are going to have kits soon, and you shouldn’t be afraid. Having kits is one of the best things to ever happen! So, what I want to ask is, who’s the father?” Robinsong sighed deeply. “Brindletail.” Last edited by kpoo97addme; 02-24-2010 at 12:57 PM.. | | | 02-24-2010, 07:34 PM | #9 | Heatherblaze Of LC Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 2,200 | Re: A Warrior cat story I'm writing.
