I wrote this poem for school today. I wanted to share it because I've written poems before, and they weren't very good. I particularly like this one.

What is the definition of 'blue'?
A brave sailor in navy uniform battling the angry sea
A vast blue sky that never ends
A blue tear that trickles down
Blue from the beginning, blue to the end
Blue is a wonder
Planets tinted and painted blue.
Cheese that turns blue
Blue birds, blue fish
And even beautiful blue eyes
Blue is a feeling
Depression, sadness; both classified as 'blue'
Misery, loss and hopelessness; definitions of 'blue'
Blue: Not just a shade on the color wheel
But a feeling and true wonder. |
