You all loved my stories, but due to stress, I never continued them. I have been really stressed out with school, swine flu (No, I don't have it, but one of my sisters I think has it, but not the baby), and stuff. But I have returned. With my new story about a future pet. So, let's stop this off topic chit chat, and get to it!

Characters

Carrie Holiday: Our main character. A special 9-year-old Peppermint Puppy. She is a sweet, yet crazy Peppermint Puppy who wants purple hair. She can talk with her mind, flip, and fly.

Hayley Allosaurus: Carrie's cousin. A 9-year-old Love Puppy with Carrie's skills. She is a friendly, yet slightly bossy Love Puppy who thinks everything can go right. She can fly, flip, talk with her mind, and dance in mid-air.

Rudolph Holiday: Carrie's brother and friend. A special 10-year-old Reindeer. He is a usually calm, but sometimes wild Reindeer with a mind of his own. He can basically do anything Carrie can.

Mia Holiday: Carrie's sister and friend. A special 8-year-old Snowman. She is a usually wild, but sometimes calm Snowman with a positive attitude. She can only flip and talk with her mind.

Beth Allosaurus: Carrie's aunt. An average 29-year-old Bubblegumasaurus. She is a friendly, but slightly too friendly Bubblegumasaurus who would just love you to pieces. She has none of the skills her family has.

Let's get to the story.

Chapter 1

An Astonishing Surprise

"Carrie, wake up!" I heard someone hissing in my ear. I was in the middle of the best dream ever. "Ten more minutes, please, Hayley." I moaned. "No! Mom says you have to get up now!" replied the voice of the Love Puppy I knew so well. Hayley Allosaurus was my cousin, and she was great. She was one of my only family members. "I'm getting up." I said in my sleep. I, Carrie Holiday, despise it when I have to wake up at 5 in the morning. I opened my eyes and smiled. Hayley looked exasperated. I'm a Peppermint Puppy, and for 6 years, I think my aunt, Beth Allosaurus, has been keeping something from me.

I slid down the banister, followed by Rudolph and Mia Holiday, my brother and sister. They were one year older and one year younger than me. We lived in Northern Kinzville, the perfect place for Farm Fresh Candy Canes. "What's for breakfast?" I asked. "Farm Fresh Candy Canes and Farm Fresh Cabbage." Replied Aunt Beth. "Mmmmm!" I said. "I have some news for the four of you." Aunt Beth said. "What is it?" I asked. "You have certain skills that you can find out for yourself." She said. I fainted.

Chapter 2
My 3 Skills

I awoke about an hour later, in the hospital wing of the house. It consisted of 10 trundle beds. All though there weren't 10 people in this house, the beds were for guests. I had the red one. I loved this color. And, on the bed below and next to me, lay an unconscious Rudolph! On the next bed, Mia! What happened? There was a Brown Arabian, my guess is she's Jessie, the maid/doctor here, stroking my ears. "Please, tell me what happened!" I said. "Your brother got stung by a bee, and your sister ate a peanut." Jessie replied. I just realized that my mom, Alyssa, never told me about Rudolph and Mia's allergies! Well of course they were allergic to peanuts, everyone in the family was allergic! But bee stings? Then, my instincts reminded me that I should try my skills. I got on the floor, and jumped. Before I knew it, I had flipped! Then, I concentrated hard. I spoke to Aunt Beth, telling her to come in here. "The third is... what?" I jumped again, and I was flying! "This is the third skill!" I thought. But I had yet to see Rudolph, Mia, and Hayley's Skills. That would have to wait.

No Way!

It took about an hour for Mia, Hayley (who ate a peanut and got stung by a bee), and Rudolph to wake up. I showed them my 3 skills. Rudolph did the same. Hayley, however, had 4 skills. She did exactly what I did, but twirled and did a little ballet in mid-air. And Mia, my younger sister, who's only 8, did the flip and the speak-mind. But I clapped for them all anyways. Then, I mind-spoke to Hayley. "How did you do that?" I asked. "Dunno."Hayley replied. Then, we went to have lunch. We showed Aunt Beth our skills. "Wow, you're great!" she said. Jessie had been watching. "I love that! You should be in a talent show!" She said. "No way!" I said.

Chapter 4
These Skills Must Be A Secret!

"These skills are special! If we show them off, everyone will learn how to do it!" I snapped. Jessie had no right to have a talent show starring us! "I'm doing it anyway." Jessie retorted. "I think that Carrie's right." Aunt Beth said. "If you do a talent show, these powers will fall into the wrong hands." "I don't care!" Jessie said. "You are the wrong hands!" I took Rudolph, Mia, and Hayley aside to mind-speak. "Jessie is going to teach everyone how to do this! You are my only friends! We need to work together!"I said. "How?"Rudolph asked. I don't know yet."I replied. I was trying to think of a plan. Suddenly, an idea struck me. "I've got it! We could send Jessie really deep into the forest to get an herb called Webkinz-Oregano, and she'd be stuck looking for it deep in the woods!"I said. Webkinz-Oregano was a rare, blue-leaved plant with olive speckles that grew in the tropical forest. My family knew that, but Jessie didn't! "Good idea! It'll definitely work!"Said Mia. Then, we left, thinking of our plot. "Lunch!" Aunt Beth called. I told her of our plan, and she said, "Well, I'd hate to lose her." she said.
