“Everybody hurry up! The Oscars are about to start! Tabby did you take care of the Employment Office?”
“I did Arte. I removed my desk and painted my shadow on the wall. Anyone that comes in will think that there is a glitch and leave. See how it looks? I took a picture with my phone before I left.”

They both started laughing.
“Well I have to give you credit for that Tabby. Did you just unplug the time clock?”
 “Sure did Arte! No one should be doing jobs anyways with our Moo at the Oscars anyways. That is the way I see it.”
“True. You would think everyone would camped out in front of a television watching this. Can you grab a bowl of popcorn while you are in there? I believe it is done popping.”
 “You got it!

And now without further adieu, the nominees for The Caring Valley Award are:
The Bubblegumasaurus for their wonderful Pet Specific Item, a wardrobe container; The Webkinz Cow, Moo, for introducing ice cream and throwing welcoming parties for all that are new into Webkinz World and lastly, the lil kinz Penguin for having Fishicles and just being a lil kinz.

“Arte, I can’t take it, I have chewed all my claws off, he HAS to win!”
“I know Tabby, he has to! Okay here they go, they are about to announce the winner.”

For the 2010 Caring Valley Oscar, it is with great pleasure to announce this year’s winner is....

{POP}
The television went out and Arte and Tabby were left looking at a black television screen.

“NOOOO!!”
“What just happened? Why is the television not working? How come we don’t see the Oscars? Why are we staring at a blank television screen? Arte talk to me! It was Moo’s big day. Arte! Arte!” 
“Tabby, no need to yell, I am right here. I have no idea what just happened. Did you hear that pop sound before it went out?”
 “I did Arte. Does that mean something?”
“It could. I wonder if it is the picture tube. It might have blown.”
 “Arte do you think that maybe the television was a little old?”
 “Old? What makes you say that?” “Arte we are watching the Oscars on an Egyptian Television. I would have loved to have seen Moo on the Colossal Screen but I would want to actually hear what Moo would have said if he was chosen the winner.” 
“O that Colossal Screen would have been awesome to watch this on. Sorry about the no sound thing. I got a really good deal on them.”
 “Yes Arte, I can tell. Now what are we going to do?” 
“Well I have a classroom television in the back room that I could dust off.” 
“That’s all you have? In this great shop of yours?” 
“As of right now, yes. I had to make room for those Colossal Screens that I offered and moved my extra stuff to storage for the time being. Those screens are huge. Sorry Tabby.”
Arte started to cry
“Don’t cry Arte. It’s okay. We had no idea that the picture tube would blow.”
Tabby comforts Arte, with a huge hug, well the best a cat can do for dog that is.
*DING* incoming mail
Both of them jumped.
“Arte look! Your phone!”
“Yes! I see it. Do you think it is Moo? What will I say?”
 “Just see if the mail is from him first Arte.”
 “Okay”

Arte, hope you got to watch the Oscars, in case you missed it to tend to a sale, I thought I would enclose a picture for you. This is The First Lady who presented me with my trophy. Yes Arte, I won! I really wish you and Tabby were here, but I understand your guy’s commitments. Enjoy the picture and I will be home in a few days. Evidently there are parties AFTER the Oscars and well... Who am I to refuse a party? LOL. See you guys soon,
