“Moo, time to wake up. Arte is outside waiting on you.”

“Moo!”
*YAWN*
“Moo, Arte is waiting. It is the perfect morning for fishing.”
“But COWS, my bed is so cozy and warm, I don’t want to leave it.”

“Do you want me to tell Arte to go ahead without you?”
“No no no. I am getting up. Tell him to give me 5 minutes and I will be ready.”

“Okay I will. I have your lunch packed.”

“Thanks COWS.”

“Arte, Moo will be out and ready to go in the next 5 minutes. I really appreciate you going fishing with him.”
“Think nothing of it COWS. I enjoy spending time with my bestest buddy and fishing on top of that! We have a great time together. I will make sure that we get home a little after lunch, that is the plan right?”
“Yep, you got it! Right after lunch. Thanks Arte!”

“See you later COWS, thanks for letting me get out chores this morning to go fishing with Arte.”
“You’re welcome Moo. I know how much you guys enjoy fishing, have a great time and see you sometime today.”

“Bye COWS.”

“Hey COWS! Is the coast clear?”
“Yes it is Brownie. Remember that Arte is bringing him back right after lunch, for the big surprise.”

“We’ll be done COWS, don’t worry.”

“Thanks Brownie. I will get going on the balloons. Holler if you encounter any problems.”
“Will do, Do you know if Mr Moo will be on time?”

“Yes he called and said he won’t be late.”

“Great! I can’t wait for the Chili Chocolate Ice Cream. Bevo created this special ice cream just for Moo. He knew how much Moo enjoyed nachos and wanted to surprise him with it. Did you know it has nacho chips in it?”
“Wow! That is cool. When you see Mr Moo dropping off the ice cream, can you show me a picture of it? I would love to see the two favorites: nacho chips and chocolate together.”
“You got it COWS! Okay I need to go talk to the turkeys to make sure their part is ready. I promise to send you a picture, talk to you soon. I hope he will be surprised.”
“He will be surprised, I have no doubt. Talk to you later, bye.”

COWS got busy blowing up the balloons using the Balloon Blower while Brownie talked to the turkeys. Bevo was the first to see Mr Moo and his ice cream cart.

“Brownie! Brownie! He’s HERE! He’s HERE!”
“Bevo, take a picture of your ice cream and send it to COWS please, she wants to see it.”
“Okay, will do!”
“Get yer Ice Cream! Got yer Ice Cream, come and get it!”
“Mr Moo, so nice to see you. Do you bring the Chili Chocolate Ice Cream?”

“I sure did Bevo. Did you know that is a wicked good flavor?”

“Thanks Mr Moo. I just came up with it cause Moo loves chocolate and nachos. Can you hold it still for a second so that I can snap a picture?”

“Will do.”

“Thanks Mr Moo. Let’s put this in the barn so it will stay cold. We have a place all set. I know you are in a hurry to go sell that ice cream so help in the barn to help unload it. Thanks again Mr Moo.”

‘No problem, anything for Moo. If it wasn’t for him discovering ice cream this past summer, I wouldn’t be here right now.”

Mr Moo’s Ice Cream is unloaded and he heads off to fill up again.

“Hey COWS! Is everything alright?”
“Yes, everything is right on schedule. I just wanted to let you know, great work Bevo on that Ice Cream, it looks delicious.”

“Thanks COWS. It was the least I could do for Moo, just combine his favorites.”

“Great job! Well we only have about 30 minutes before they here. I have some finishing touches to do. Talk to you soon.”
“Bye COWS.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOO!!!

“Woah you guys! You got me! I totally didn’t see this coming. You all are so thoughtful. How did you guys know it was my birthday?”

“A big cow told us, Moo.”

Laughing, “COWS of course! I should have known. Thanks guys.”
“Moo we have something for you.”
“You do?”
‘Yes! We have been working with the turkeys for a special surprise.”

“That is very kind of you guys, I wonder what it could be?”
“Well Moo, I made you some new ice cream! It’s called Chili Chocolate Ice Cream!”
“Bevo! That was going to be a surprise. Remember after the turkeys?”
“Oh that’s right! Sorry Moo. SURPRISE!”
Laughing, “Thanks Bevo, it tastes yummy.”

“It should, it has your favorites in it: nachos and chocolate.”
“Thank you, that was total YUM-O!”
“Oh don’t worry Moo, there is plenty more where that came from.”
“There is?”
“Yes, Mr Moo will have it.”
“That is so cool so that others can enjoy this yummy treat now.”

“Yes!”
“Moo, as I was saying, close your eyes.”



“Okay open them up.”
“WOW! Is that an edible turkey?”

“You know it! Everything is edible. The turkeys needed a little bit of help, but we think that they turned out quite well. What do you think?”
“I think they look fabulous! Great work guys!”
“You really think so?”
“Absolutely!”
“Hey you guys, can you get together so that I can take your picture?”
“Sure thing COWS.”
“And put the edible turkey in front of you so that we can remember your 3rd birthday.”
“3rd? Oh no! I accidently put 4 feathers on thinking that you were 4 Moo, Let me eat one off real quick.”

“No! It’s perfect just like that Brownie. I love it. I will always remember this birthday that is for sure.”
“Okay, everyone say Moo.”

I love the edible turkeys. I'm going to make some for work next week. Not so sure about the chocolate chilli though. I guess Moo has a more sophisticated palate than I do. But if Moo, says it's good I'll try it!!
