*Yawn*
Man that was the best sleep I have had in a long time. I feel so rested. I love my bed, it is so soft and warm. I can’t wait for spring to arrive and I can lose these seven blankets. I wonder time it is, the sun doesn’t seem to too bright out. Man my eyes must be getting worse, I can’t see anything on the clock. Where are my glasses? O here they are. Hmm.. my clock says nothing? Did it come unplugged? No, it’s plugged in but why isn’t it working? Now I DO have to get out of bed and see what time it is in the kitchen then. Man this floor is cold, even for my hooves. I guess I better get a fire going to start warming up this place. This is the big day for the Valentine’s Day party afterall. I really need to put a clock in this room. Where is my phone? My phone will tell me what time it is.
Moo tries turning on the light switch to help him see and nothing happens.
What!? I have a burned out lightbulb? Ugh! Let me go turn on the light on the other side of the room then. What!? This one too? How in the world can both light bulbs burn out at the same time? I can see that my day isn’t starting out right. I’m cold, have 2 burned out lightbulbs and still don’t know what time it is.
Moo makes it towards the kitchen counter where his iPhone is and looks at the time.
HOLY COW! How did it come to be so late? The party is supposed to start in... what?

Sorry Brownie n Moo. Party cancelled due 2 blizzard n no electricity. Happy Valentines Day. Ms Birdy
WHAT?! A blizzard? No electricity? Well that explains the lightbulb situation. Brownie will be crushed that there is no party. A blizzard came through last night? Let me go see how bad it really is. O WOW! This is bad. Stop and Think Moo. Breathe. What is your first priority? Heat. I need to get warm. Yes! Start a fire, that will get the house warm and then we can cook and therefore we can eat.
“GOOOOOD Morning Moo! Did you know that the house is a bit chilly this morning?”
“Brownie! Yes, about to start a fire to warm up the place. Do you mind grabbing some firewood on the porch to bring in. I will be using the last of what is inside here.”
“No problem at all Moo. I am so excited about this party today Moo, I can’t wait.”
“Yes about the party Brownie...”
“Be right back Moo, gotta get that wood. Tell me when I get back in.”
“MOO! There is soooo much snow outside! Have you seen it out there? It is like a winter wonderland!”
“Yes Brownie that is what I was trying to tell you. A blizzard came through last night while we were sleeping and knocked out the electricity around Webkinz World. The Valentine’s Day Party has been cancelled. I am so sorry Brownie.”
“Cancelled? How? Why? I did all my Valentines cards Moo.”
“Because of the treacherous conditions outside and no electricity, Ms Birdy thought it was best to cancel the party. All that snow must have made some trees fall down on some power lines. I really am sorry. I know you were looking forward to this.”
“I was. It was my first Valentine’s Day Party. And now we don’t have electricity so I guess I can’t have eggs for breakfast then.”
“Eggs? That reminds me of a dream I had last night Brownie about you.”
“About me and eggs?”
Laughing,”Well sort of. I dreamt that you stayed up all night doing your Valentines and then you had Crazy Cow cereal and then you were on the snowmobile clearing paths in the driveway. I tried to tell you to come in and rest some before the party, but you kept doing things and was constantly doing something.”
Laughing, “I do keep busy, but I would never miss any sleep the night before a big day like today. Glad to hear that was a dream Moo. Could you imagine me at the party, I would fall asleep drinking at the fruit punch bowl.”
Laughing,”Yes I am happy it was a dream too. Guess today it is just us, but we can have our own party still.”
“We can?”
“Sure we can. I am Moo. I know how to party Brownie and make the most of this situation we are in. Are you up for a Moo styled Party on Valentine’s Day?”
“Up for it? We’re snowed in Moo. I do believe that I am up for it. What do you need me to do?”
“Well first thing is first. We need heat. So let’s work on the fire.”
“Sounds great and I will bring in more firewood.”
A warm blazing fire was built and Moo was busy in the kitchen making noises.
“Moo, Can you come in here real quick so that I can get our picture real quick? I have the camera all set and ready.”
“Coming Brownie.”
“What’s all that Moo?”
“This my friend is for our party, but let’s get the picture first. Where do you want me?”
“Right there on that side and I will be on this side. On the count of three, say Mooooo. 1...2...3”
Mooooo *Click”
“Perfect! Thanks. Now I won’t ever forget this Valentine’s Day.”
“Are you ready Brownie?
“Ready Moo!”
“I thought we could pop some popcorn today and have some smores Brownie as we exchanged Valentines.”
“Moo, how are we supposed to pop popcorn?”
“I have my jiffy pop all set to go and I will just put it in the fire and it will start popping. We don’t just grow corn here to have corn on the cob. We also make popcorn!”
“How come I never knew about this?”
“I have no idea Brownie, but I do love to pop it in the fireplace though, it is so much fun to watch it pop. I have some chocolate bars, marshmallows and webkinz crackers for our smores.”
“You really do think of everything don’t you?”
“And don’t worry Brownie, the cinnamon hearts are on the kitchen table for you. What would Valentines be without the hearts?”
“Gosh Moo this is so great. Can we exchange Valentines before we start eating? I don’t want to give you a sticky Valentine after all the time I spent on it.”
“O yes! Let’s exchange Valentines Brownie. I do hope you will like mine too.”
“Okay on the count of three hold them out for each other 1...2...3..
“O Moo! Do I really color your world?”
“Yes you do Brownie. Thanks to the crayons that I won in a quick draw, I got the idea for this card. I am a cow, you are a brown cow; you color my world!”
“That is the sweetest thing anyone has said to me in a long time Moo, thank you. Not sure if you like mine, do you?”
“I do Brownie! It is such a cute play on words, I love it!”
“I thought of it when I was gardening while you were on vacation and knew that was the right saying for you.”
“It is Brownie! Thank you!”
“I wish I had crayons though. I had to use markers and so some of my lettuce leaves had to be pink cause I ran out of green.”
“Well there is always the Prize Klaw Brownie. You never know you could get lucky on it. OH! Did you hear that?”
“Hear? I didn’t hear anything.”
“Right! The popcorn is done!”
“Thanks again Moo for making me laugh and smile on such a day, it means a lot.”
“You’re welcome Brownie. I knew how much you were looking forward to that party. We could try to venture outside today and use the snowmobile later on?”
“How about we’ll see?”
“Sounds good to me Brownie, sounds good to me.”
