*RING* RING*
Caller ID: Goober
“Hello Goober, how is everything going?”
“Moo, I am all set. I have everything ready to go. You remember how to get here right?”
“Of course Goober, that is where I get those Swiss Moo Pudding Pops.”
“Did you ever think up of how to get Arte up here?”
“I have. Since he still doesn’t recognize me, I went to Doug for help.”
“YOU WENT TO DOUG?”
“I did, but it is alright, he said he couldn’t do it. He would rather take all those gems at the clubhouse than do this for me, but he did recommend someone to me.”
“He did? Who?”
“He suggested I contact Dogbeard since Dogbeard is a dog and dogs like to travel in packs.”
“And Dogbeard agreed?”
“He did with the request of cookies.”
“Cookies?”
“Yes, evidently he got wind of Arte’s cookie jar on his counter and so he would like some cookies in order to help me out.”
“How is the cookie situation?”
“All taken care of. I made him some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies since I had all those pumpkins left over from Halloween so it was a perfect solution to my problem of what to do with all of them. I will call Dogbeard and tell him the time is now.”
“Perfect. How are you going to get Arte out of the Curio Shop? He is always there.”
“Arte showed me a neat trick that no one will notice that he is gone.”
“How?”
“I just pull the curtains and stick a sign up saying server upgrade in progress and no one has any idea what really is going on. I will put an Arte cutout behind the desk just in case someone stops in, but when they realize that he is not speaking they will leave.”
“Brilliant Moo!”
“Sorry I can’t take the credit for that one. That one is all Arte. He’s a smart ole dawg with quite a few tricks up that sleeve of his.”
“Ok Moo, I will see you up here soon then. Good Luck!”
“Let’s hope this works Goober. I miss my friend. Miss our good times. I want to celebrate the good news of my ice cream being sold in the Kinzville Park with him.”
“I will do my best Moo. See you soon.”
“Bye Goober.”
Moo makes the ever so important phone call to Dogbeard and then heads up to the mountains.
“Where are we Dogbeard?”
“Arte, I found this trail awhile back and I have to say it is great to be a dog and run in the outdoors. At the end of the trail there is a cabin to rest if need be. Last one there is a stinky pup.”
“You’re on!”
The two of them ran and ran. The cabin came into sight and so Dogbeard slowed down a little so that Arte would enter first.
“There you are! Always nice to see you Arte! “
“Goober? What are you doing here? And why does this place look like my shop?”
“Arte just have a seat and rest your paws while I explain.”
Arte sits down on a chair and as soon as he sat down, he felt something placed on his head, like a cap. He was tired from running, so he took a few pants to catch his breath. The ‘cap’ was already at work.
“Arte, what is my name?”
“What are you talking about Goober? Your name is Goober, silly.”
“Good. Now who is this Arte?”
Moo appeared from behind the chair.
“Think Arte, think. Who is this?”
“Can I have a cookie while I think?”
“Yes Arte. Look deeply in that crystal ball too while you eat your cookie. Look real good. What do you see?”
“I see a cow with a crown of wonder and wearing glasses. I offer crown of wonders!”
“Yes you do Arte. Does the look familiar at all to you ?”
“I see him laughing and he is talking to me. We seem to be in the mountains, well over flying some mountains actually.”
“Good good.”
“Oh I remember we had just returned from getting those Swiss Moo Pudding Pops from the cows in the mountains. Man those are some great ice cream pops.”
“So you remember the good time you and Moo had?”
“Of course! He’s my bestest buddy. I would never forget that. We have great times and some awesome adventures when we hang out together. “
“Howdy Arte!”
“There you are Moo! Always great to see you, my place is your place. When did you get here?”
“Just got in Arte, “ and Moo ran up to Arte and gave him a big ole hug. He was so happy to have his old friend back after so long.
“How was your Halloween Moo? I feel like I haven’t talked to you in like forever.”
“I know. Me too Arte. It’s been too long.”
The two of them chatted the rest of the afternoon catching each other up on what has been going on for the last few weeks. Goober and Dogbeard headed back down the mountain and let them just catch up on old times. | | | 11-13-2009, 12:56 AM | #2 | uv U! I'm so glad that Arte's recovered his memory thanks to the thinking cap, the haunted crystal ball, but mostly due to Moo's friendship.

My kids loved it since Arte was ignoring us too yesterday. My littlest got a real kick out of the "Stinky Dog" remark, as he hopped on the bus he turned to me and said "See ya after school you stinky dog". | | | 11-13-2009, 09:15 AM | #7 | I'm a Gymnast Webkinz :) Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 1,319 | Re: COWS and Moo’s Adventures 11/13/09 Awesome!! I love her stories and like a little kid, look forward to them each week. | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
