“Eureka! I think we did it guys! We found a recipe to make to take care of all that baked butternut squash from the fall festival.”
“But will the other webkinz like it BartheLaMoo?”
“Here Half Pint, try it and tell me what you think?”
“Not bad, but I think it needs just a little something.”
“Do you think?”
“I do BartheLaMoo. It needs something to give it that zing if you will. Add a little spice you know. Have you ever seen COWS cook squash? She adds some spices to it.”
“But this butternut squash is already baked Half Pint, how would I add more spices to something that is already cooked?”
“Well then BartheLaMoo, we’ll just have to add it in the mixing stage and presentation is everything.”
“What do you suggest we add then?”
“Well I was thinking that since Moo loves nachos with a little kick, how about we add a chili pepper to it? We could even stick a whole one in it like was a spoon.”
“You know Half Pint, that sounds like it would be an award winner ice cream. Do you want to join our team in creating some new flavors for Mr Moo’s Ice Cream?”
“I would love to, thank you for asking. Do I need call you Mr BartheLaMoo now?”
Laughing,”no Half Pint you don’t, just BartheLaMoo will be fine.”
“But why call Moo, Mr Moo?”
“Well Half Pint, this ice cream business took off and became a huge hit. When a herd of lil kinz cows came up and bought some ice cream off of Moo, they referred to him as Mr. Moo. When word spread of our Moo having ice cream through the lil kinz, he was always referred to as Mr Moo and the name has always stuck. Moo knew that their owner taught them to use Mr or Ms when talking to webkinz older than them as a respect thing, so he labeled his ice cream Mr. Moo Ice Cream, which I think is pretty cool if you ask me.”
“I do too. That was very kind of Moo to do that. Will he be changing his Moo Butter name too?”
“No Half Pint, that will stay as Moo Butter as far as I know.”
“Okay, I think I got it BartheLaMoo. Where do you want me to start?”
“Okay Half Pint, first things first, go wash your hooves, we can’t have any dirt falling into our creations.”
“Totally understand”
“And then when you are done with that. Work on this Squash Ice Cream with your idea you had. We want to try to get this product out as soon as we can since it is Autumn and we think that by offering an Autumn treat like baked squash as an ice cream, will increase our revenue during the colder months when ice cream isn’t exactly on the minds of webkinz when they are cold.”
“I agree, that is why I think this squash ice cream you made needs a little kick, a little heat to warm you up.”
“You got it Half Pint! You can use this space here to work and good luck, but most of all... Have Fun with it.”
“Yes sir, Mr BartheLaMoo! OH, I mean just BartheLaMoo.”

Half Pint got straight to work. He knew this was a big task. If presentation wasn’t there, then no one would try the new flavor. And once they actually bought it, it had to taste good too, but baked butternut squash by itself was a little boring. He always loved eating chili peppers so he gave it a try. He worked the whole afternoon trying to master this ice cream flavor. He even stayed, after most everyone went home. He was determined to master this, to perfect it. Just before the clock struck midnight, he figured it all out. By this point he wasn’t sure if he was used to the ice or not so he had to find someone who was up to try it. Half Pint thought, who would be up at this time of day? It didn’t take him long to think of someone. He grabbed his ice cream and headed straight there.

*KNOCK* KNOCK*
“Oh sorry, you’re a bit early. Remember you can only do 1 job every 8hours. Look at the clock to see how much time you left. Goodbye for now.”
“But but..Ms Meow...”

There was no answer. T. Von Meow kept her eyes on her keyboard and typed away. Half Pint would not be defeated. He headed over to the Curio Shop, he knows it is staffed 24hours a day.

*KNOCK* KNOCK*
~Please Wait..~

Half Pint could see through the hazed glass Arte staring at him, but Arte didn’t move expect to blink. The neon sign kept flashing PLEASE WAIT and Half Pint waited and waited and finally gave up and left. When dealing with ice cream, time is of the essence and for every minute of the PLEASE WAIT, he worried about the specially made ice cream.

Think Half Pint. Think. Who is up? Someone has to be up at midnight? Then he remembers and runs over to their place.

*KNOCK* KNOCK*
“Come on in! Are you thinking of adopting another webkinz? If so let’s begin.”
“No ma’am I am not. Actually I was wondering if I could have 5 minutes of your time?”
“Sure thing Half Pint, what is on your mind?”
“Do you love the taste of ice cream? Do you hate that when the winter months approach, you don’t get to eat as much ice cream as you normally would? Do you enjoy the smells of home cooked meals? Well if you answered yes to any of those questions, then I have the solution for you. May I introduce you to Spicy Squash Ice Cream. This brand new flavor has the comfort smell of baked butternut squash, yet has that spicy kick that warms you up inside. Why not give this new twist to ice cream a try, you may just want another.”
“I would be happy to try it Half Pint. It looks very appealing. I like how you have this chili pepper sticking you like this.”

Ms Birdy eats the Spicy Squash Ice Cream and leaves not a crumb.
“That was delicious Half Pint.”
“Was it too spicy? or just right?”
“It was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Will Mr Moo be selling this flavor soon?”
“Yes ma’am he will be. Thank you for your feedback and watch those ice cream carts of Moos to get this specially made flavor, just created.”
“I will most definitely look for him. Thank you Half Pint.”
“No no, thank you Ms Birdy for the feedback.”

And of course the adoption center would never say please wait!!! LOL!!!

Since I love pumpkin ice cream I'm wondering how I would feel about spicy squash ice cream... I think in ww it's made with ice cream, the butternut squash from fall fest and the candy bash 2 trophy!!!!!
