Summary: Take a turn at the Weeping Willow tree, and climb into the green needles of the Redwood Tree. Once you open your eyes, you're at the Mystical Meadow Herd of Magical Beasts. Pegasuses swoop and land from the sky, unicorns graze beneath the coolness of the trees. A couple dragons take on snooze on the giant rocks, while Anicorns, (unicorns with wings,) take a drink from the river bank. All is peaceful and quiet, until the days of when the shadows came over the land. . . . . .
All of the Anicorns fled away from all the darkness, except for one mare, called Sliver Wind. With her help, and her best herd mates, Amber the Pegasus, and Violet the unicorn. Together, and just alone, they have to save all the Anicorns, a quarter of the Pegasuses, and half the unicorns. But not just that, they also have to save Ribbon Rose, their leader, which is hidden somewhere in valleys, and has only her wings to help her! Join Silver Wind, Amber, and Violet on their biggest adventure yet! Will they be able to succeed in time? Or have their herd be lost in the shadows forever? With all their Dragons gone already? Or will peace restore all over the meadows of the Browers?

Chapter 1

Ribbon Rose, the leader, woke up to the buzzing of fireflies, in the middle of the night. Whenever she did, she couldn't get those pesky fireflies away! As she sighed deeply, the fireflies flew back and came back. So Rose decided to take a midnight walk down to the brook of the silver waterfall, leaving all the other mystical creatures at the sleeping center, at the farthest corner of the meadows, but there was more than that, there was a forest too.
She had no time to waste, she needed to be there in the early morning! Quickly, Rose did a circled down the brook and met up with her sleeping spot again. No fireflies this time. So she happily laid down and tried to go back to her sleep, with was indeed already midnight, but she longed no more for sleep. Ribbon Rose decided to let everyone have breakfast in their grassy resting areas that morning, since she felt kind that night.
But before she made breakfast, (sweet grazing grass and honey suckles,) she decided to get ready for the day, since she wasn't going back to sleep. And no, they do not brush their teeth and comb their hair. Getting cleaned up, to them, meant taking a nice cool bath in the waterfall, lasting 10 whole minutes each per animal. So that's exactly was she did.
By the time she was finished making the whole herd's breakfast, the sun was already rising in the dark sky, which was getting lighter by the minute. 5 by 5, she gave each of her herd mates a bunch of sweet grazing grass and a pile on honey suckle flowers. Swish! Swoop! Plop! Ribbon Rose slipped on some dew on the grass, and tumbled all over 5 servings of her special breakfast.

Chapter2

In embarrassment, Ribbon Rose looked around frantic-ly for any animal who spotted her slip in her own clumsy-ness. Few, she sighed gratefully, no one saw me slip. They were to busy eating. As she lifted herself up, something bumped her leg. Looking up, Rose saw Lightning, a neon yellow Pegasus, staring right up at her leader.
"Well well," Lightninh hissed,"Miss Ribbon Rose slipped on a tiny drop on dew. Shame on you." Ribbon Rose looked up at Lightning, and her blood colored eyes. "You can never make me regret for something I did." She told her wisely. "I guess you have to serve yourself now, I dropped your breakfast." Lightning's eyes turned even more red, with lots of veins. But, the angry Pegasus just stomped off, everyone knew that you have to do what the leader says, even Lightning.
When Ribbon Rose was finished serving everyone and making the 4 new servings for some unicorns, she flapped her wings, and soon she was up in the sky.

I am the leader,
I am the thee,
I am the one who holds three.
Whom was I supposed to be?
Let's just wait to see.

Soaring up in the sky,
Flying past you and I,
We where from the Browers.
Land of the flowers.

Grazing on soft sweet grass,
Oh, all the laughs we do pass,
Sometimes we just might know,
When the wind might blow.

The Dragons are such,
All the unicorns are much,
Pegasuses, passing a big bright ball,
After this, there are Anicorns after all."

Ribbon Rose sang those words to herself and pranced in there air. It was a bright spring morning, and a great day to take a fly over the forest also. Her wings were sore from flapping them so much to stay above the forest trees, which were quite tall.
Back at the Meadows, Silver Wing, the Anicorn, just licked up the rest of her breakfast in bed. Amber, the Pegasus, sat on the left of her, and Violet, the unicorn, sat on the right of her. The three were still in bed, and planned to be until they were called for their daily jobs. Most of them were really hard work, but such as getting hay for dinner, was light, easy, and fun. Each day, 3 mates from the herd went to get hay for dinner. The chosen one for that chose 2 friends, or whoever they wanted, to help them with their job. Of course, Lightning was always chosen last, or mostly, never chosen at all.

Chapter 3

"Job time!" Ribbon Rose called out to all of her herd mates. Eagerly, everyone rushed to the job center, near the silver waterfall. As she waited for everyone to crowd around her, she started to begin to sing a song again.

"When the wind wisps awa-"

She began to sing, but was cut off by Amber blowing lightly on her mane. "Yes Amber?" Rose asked patiently. "Can you tell us what jobs we have today?" Amber asked annoyed. "Um, why yes, of course." The leader answered, knowing that Amber got annoyed a lot when she has to wait for something exciting.
"Everyone ready?" Ribbon Rose called out to everyone. "Ready!" Everyone exclaimed together. Good, she thought happily, I got everyone's attention. "Alright now!" Ribbon Rose called back, "now get in a SINGLE FILE line!" And in seconds, everyone formed, a single file line. Holly, the pegasus, was first in line. "Okay, Holly, your job today is getting the water for dinner tonight. By the pond over there in the meadows, you will find a bucket for everyone in the herd," Rose said, pointing with her horn to where a crowd of trees were, to the left. Happily, Holly trotted off toward the trees, and in no time she started to work on her job.
Now, Amber got the job of picking golden apples for dinner, and that was a solo job. On the other hand, Silver Wind and Violet was at the very end of the line, except for Lightning, who was last in the line. It took 2 and a half hours to get their jobs, but when it was finally time to get Silver Wind's job, the hay duty was already taken by Aqua, Daisy, and Glimmer, all Anicorns.
Silver Wind got the job of watering the grazing grass, which was the most hard and boring job of all. Plus it was hard to carry the water over from the pond and give it the right amount of water. Violet got the job of planting more flowers in the grazing grass for more taste, so Silver Wind and Violet will be working on the same place. But were forbidden to talk together.Lightning, got the job of weeding the meadow grass, which was most annoying for her. One mistake, and she would be forbidden to do something too.

Chapter 4

Ribbon Rose handed Violet the giant bag of fast growing seeds, she quickly put it around her neck and headed toward the grazing grass, the only light green patch of grass in the meadows. The rest of the grass was a medium color green. Silver Wind Headed toward the pond, lugging herself to it was the last thing she was planning to do on this sunny day, but at least she didn't work in the caves.
Violet started to pick up seeds into her mouth and sprinkle them through the grass, and the pale seeds went flying all over her long mane.

As she planted her seeds, they already began to grow into pink daisies with sun yellow middles. Why, a few minutes later, they were already full grown! Then Violet looked around for Silver Wind, and she was nowhere to be seen. Since Violet wasn't allowed to take a break, she decided to finish her job, then look for her.

Amber, in the orchard, was flying tree to tree, knocking all the apples in her wooden basket that was too, hung by her sturdy neck. So far, she got 42 apples in her wooden basket, and she needed 1,500 apples before she could return to her beloved meadows! With a sigh, she knocked another 4 into the basket, that was bigger than a barrel. Winter was coming soon, and then they would need more food, so she decided to get 2,000 instead. Now, her job was going to take her the whole day, and Silver Wind and Violet would come searching for her.

Silver Wind carried her old tin bucket of water back to the meadows where Violet was working. Since she wasn't able to talk to Violet, they just exchanged smiles and started on their work again. Starting off at a gallop, puddles of water spilled out of the bucket, as Silver Wind hoped it would. The grazing grass area was half a mile, so she needed to gallop every inch of it, heading back to the pond to get refills of water for her work.
