Poem for my late grandfather* Please read

For my Grandfather:

I can't believe that this has happened,
Oh how the world has seemed to sadden.
How dearly you shall be missed,
Your cheek never again be kissed.
One day you're here,
The next you're gone,
Now nothing seems the least bit fun.
Your loving smile,
Your amazing survival,
Are things I will always remember.
The love you shared,
The way you cared,
Will always be a big part of my life.
The things you taught,
The lessons we learned,
The friends that you have gratefully earned.
The way you took my hand and led me thru,
Good times and bad, O
ld times and new.
We love you, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend.

Oh and here is another poem that I like that I wrote:

My Angel

My angel who is watching me,
Grab my arm and take me free.
Take me from my troubles and fears,
From a place full of hate and tears.
But if you can't, if it isn't possible to,
Keep me safe in the loving arms of you~
