...Guide to Creating a Successful Avatar and Signature Shop...
1) Get to the requirements for owning a shop, before you start one.
The requirements are have 50 non-fluff posts and be a member of WI for more than two weeks. If these requirements are not met your shop will be closed by one of the moderators.
2) Create an Eye-catching title for your shop.
Try out a fancy name for your shop or some fancy text like mine.


3) Create graphics that are unique to you.
Take my mood banners for example; something new will bring in new customers. It's okay to have somethings that others have (DON'T COPY), but it waaayyy cool to have something orignal.


4) Make your shop neat and organized.
Use text and a text color that is legible. Make your headers big and either make them bold or change them to a color that you can read. And don't cover your shop in tons of graphic examples. One for each category should be efficient.


5) Always try your best on your orders and try to get them in on time.
Don't make your examples look nice and then throw your orders together. This makes people not want to order. And if you need a break/you won't be able to work on your orders for your shop for a while; I would recommend telling your customers. Don't leave them hanging.


6) Always be kind to your customers.
No matter what the situation always be nice. If their order is taking a while and they ask why; it would be a lot better to simply say, "Sorry, I've been a bit busy." than "I'm taking time out of my day to do your order; so calm down!"
