Hotel Rules

As there have been many Hotels showing up lately, we've created this subforum for all of you hotel owners and guests to post in.

Please read the rules and do your best to follow them - they're very similar to the party rules, so you will be familiar with most of them.

Have fun!

1. Hotels and other business are FREE. You can't charge a fee. Please do not ask for "rent", or advertise your rooms as "available to rent" -- to "rent" something means to charge money, and even if you didn't mean it that way, other users may misunderstand and it can cause confusion. There are many ways to advertise: "available to visit", "available for you" "ready for you" "ready for guests" and whatever other ways you can come up with that don't say rent.

2. No asking for gifts, tips or donations to your business, if the client would like to give you something, it is their choice.

3. Do not jump in on someone else's post about your hotel. That's bad mojo. If you have your own business, then make your own post about it.


4. There will be NO weddings, no dating places, no wedding chapels, no honeymoon suites or similar. Webkinz can't get married in Webkinz world, so they can't get married here. Your thread will be deleted.

5. If you do decide to hire employees, then you can pay them in Wshop food. No rare foods, pet foods, seasonal foods, etc. Recipe foods are allowed since they are made from food found in the Wshop.

6. If you want your employees to wear a uniform, then you, the owner of the business must provide it.This would include school uniforms, chef uniforms and etc. Not everyone has previously purchased the same clothing items (especially the chefs outfits) and it's not fair to expect them to buy these things if it is YOU who wants them to wear it. If someone already owns the clothing, that's fine.
