What Age Would You Hire A Babysitter?

I'd have to know the person well, and it depends on HOW they behave. It doesn't matter the age it just can't be too young, because if anyone were to come into the house, they wouldn't be considered a grown-up.

I have been babysitting since i was 11 but defintely by age like 12 or 13.

i started when i was 11, but if i wanted someone to watch my stuff (or kids when I'm much older) i'd probably say 12

Well it all depends, if they are mature for thier age and trustworthy, then 12 or 13, the important thing is if they are good with kids, and are responsible, good luckZ! I started babysitting at 13 so that's he age I answered!

Having used babysitters, we found around 13-14 years was a good starting point and they seemed to be very responsible at that age...we only had one sitter who stole from us..

Depends on the age of the child, probably 13 and up.
