i read it in grade 6 and i am not a fan. it had a horrible ending and just didnt seem realistic. it also kinda freaked me out...idk, i just didnt like it.

Nah, I don't really want to read it, but the local theater did a play for it at one point... I think I may have tried out for it, but I didn't get in... no, wait, that was another play. Nevermind.

Yes, I've read it. Actually, I have a copy of it. x] I didn't like it much, though. Not my genre of literature, I suppose.

errr the book was REALLY good until the climax then it REALLY stunk

I read The Giver last year in reading class, and I liked it.

I also like that it lets you imagine your own ending, but when I read it, I thought that Jonas and Gabriel died.
