WoW! Unbelievable what this one store is charging for TCs! What is the highest price you've seen for TCs at a retail store (not on-line)?!

Yep. My Hallmark has Series 1 cards for $3.99 a pack. Series 1 !! So 4x4=16.00. Sounds like the manufacturer's suggested retail price. (Rip off !!)
I love it when I find them elsewhere for $1-2.00 a pack !!

I always paid about $3.00 a pack for all of mine. (sometimes, I was LUCKY and they would have a sale on them....which was VERY rare.....either buy one get one free, or sometimes, only $0.50 cents off each pack.....it doesn't seem like they like to mark them down much around me at all....).

I have only purchased series 2 mostly, SOME series ONE and a FEW packs of series 3.

CURRENTLY......there is a GREAT sale at COSTCO where you can buy a package deal for $10.00 (you can buy them online too--and you do NOT have to be a member--there is a $0.50 price added PER item if you are NOT a member--which is what I paid--but, I am in the USA).

Anyhow--the DEAL at COSTCO---is TEN, yes TEN packs of SERIES 2 trading cards (pretty sure they are series 2 from what people said) as well as TWO full size WEBKINZ!! for $10.00!!

They have 4 different sets to choose from, and you can pick as many sets as you want!! (shipping at the LOWEST cost takes like 5 days to the farthest places from the warehouses---such as me--we do not have a Costco in NY State).

WoW! That's an awesome price! I wish shipping to Canada didnt involve border duties .. that raises the cost considerably..... I will look into it though..it may still be worth the extra cost/hassle!

i love my trading cards and i refuse to pay over 2.99 a pack. i guess that is why i do a lot of ordering on line and by the box. the prices are quite reasonable that way.

i went to justice when they had they 40% off everything sale and the price they wanted was ridiculous even for 40% off.

Gosh, that is TOO high! I thoguht you were going to say something like 3$ a pack, but that is NUTTY! xD that is insane! Who would pay that much for series one and two? osh, sorry you couldn't get any. Wow. That's a TON!

Yep. $3.99/pk here no matter what series. And if the price you listed was in Canadian dollars that actually makes it only about $14.40 US currently.

I think mine are about $4 no matter what pack you buy! I dont buy them at wal mart they dont have them.

That sounds like a rip off... You could even find ebkinz at that price!
I always go to hallmark for some trading card packs.... Before series 3 and 4 they we're 2.75, Its terrible that you can find em" for a large price now.. I'm not even sure if my Hallmark has put the price high!

You have to understand Wal*Mart and Zeller's concepts. I think that is the initial offering. Hang tough...They will both do a 'rolback' that brings the price down to a more reasonable level. I KNOW they also price match (both do) If you can find the places where you shop and save your purchase receipts, bring those prices in, then they can start their reports back to head office where they can start looking at a more reasonable price.
I think they actually price match MINUS an additional 10%. Just go to a manager and TELL them...I can get them for WAY cheaper at Hallmark. If you bring in a SALES RECEIPT with the prices you paid, they will bring it down...I am pretty sure.
