What Have You Sacrificed In Order To Buy WW Accessories?

I have to hide my purchases big time. Usually, when I take my check to the bank, I'll get cash back, and hide the stub so my other half doesn't know exactly how much was supposed to go into the account. Once I buy, I'll keep it all hidden. New pets are easy to hide because between me and DD, we have so many. He can't tell what's new and what's old. Same with cards. Klips are a bit harder being that we only have a few... But as long as I pay cash and he doesn't see charges, I'm okay. I have yet to tell him I bought the cards yesterday in which I found my magical retriever....

Wow, that's a whole lotta hidin' goin' on! The codes can make a person , I'm now convinced!

I'm so jealous that you have the mystical panda and the magic receiver! How many cards did you have to buy to get those? Just curious. Thanks for posting!

Well, it's funny really... I started collecting the cards with series 3. Once I got close to having them all, I cheated and completed the last 6 cards I needed by buying off ebay. With series 4, I bought about 5 boxes worth of cards, and again completed the last missing card off ebay. My DH bought me 10 packs of series 4 for my b-day this year, and that's when I found my panda. It was an AWESOME b-day surprise!

Yesterday, I went to Books-a-million on my lunch break to see if they had the new kinz klips yet (which they didn't) but saw they had series 3 cards. I decided to grab 3 packs, one of each color, and opened them on the way back to work. The first pack I opened (a yellow pack) had the retriever in it! I was shocked!

Needless to say, I have quite a few doubles... probably in the neighborhood of 400 to 500 EXTRA cards of which I have no use for. Maybe I'll hand them out for halloween this year...

Some of my incidences are very SAD! You see, my mom believes that I don't appreciate the webkinz i got(wrong) because I ALWAYS want more. She really doesn't like me getting that many webkinz. And I don't get much money either. You won't believe what weekly routine I go through with my parents.

.Sometimes I'm so desperate I start crying over them.
.One time I made up a big lie that was partially true and said the webkinz July pets (last year) were only going to be in stores for like 2 days. And I made myself sick so my mom would feel bad for me and so I could get a webkinz. I felt that puking was worth it if I got webkinz.
.Sometimes I beg my mom so much and show her all the cute pictures and say which one do you like best that I will get webkinz in the next couple of days.
.When I was looking on Ebay for webkinz and I have no money I feel bad to go up to my mom again, i feel as though I should givee her a break, I decide to go up to my brother. Hes 3 years older than me and thinks I'm annyoing so I do whatever I can to get money. I asked him for 6 bucks. That's all I needed after an argument and bribeing for an hour and a half he decides to give it to me if I do his chores for a week. Turns out I still haven't paid him back and that was in 2007. AND, I only did some of his chores! Ha!

I have more expierences but it would take forever those are just the funniest!

Wow, ilovefrance, that is desperation! I would recommend not going to the lengths of making yourself throw up though. You have to stay healthy for your pets! And induced vomiting can lead to tooth decay, which is expensive to fix, then you won't be able to afford your "fix", and neither will your parents. That would be a BUMMER.

You could try doing more chores for money (but you have to DO the chores or you won't get the cash anymore! Or babysitting, if you're old enough. Thanks for posting, and welcome to a thread where we are all a little . LOL!

Except my parents are a little tight on money right now. And we were getting paid for chores but ... my mom's transmission went out.And it cost 1,400$ to get it fixed. So right now I am super desperate. For instance Yesterday I begged my mom so much to help me pay for my webkinz. I already had 7 bucks she paid for the rest because webkinz are 9 bucks at Justice right now!! So I got the walrus! But now that I saw the arctic fox I'm on my new obbsession and want that!! HA he ha !!! I've gone mad over them!

I set myself a $20.00 per week budget for Webkinz and or cards. The store I frequent most has a bunch of Webbies for $5.00 and the series 1 cards are 40% off, so my allowance stretches more than usual. I usually buy my 7 year old 1 webkinz per week (if he gets all green stars on his good boy chart, and helps out with chores) plus some stickers, which he loves. My husband is pretty good about it, he spends tons of money on camping supplies so I remind him of that fact if he talks about my "wasting money" (I waste tons less than he does).

Off topic question...how do your pets become artists? Is it by going to the Academy? Man, there is so much to learn, and I have been on WW for almost 2 years!?! Always interesting.

My pups are Artists simply because they claim themselves so! They have the Artist's Bed, Kimmy's Crafting Table and a Poster that supports the fact that they are indeed Artist's material. (They are however sensitive to criticism). They do largely model themselves after the Impressionists, tend to a garden and LOVE taking the creativity class at the Academy.

P.S. I put cards under hubbie's placemat because then I can grab them from where I sit easier. And if accused of sneaking in items...I can say that it is under his nose at all times LOL!

I wish that I was able to have a ton of money to go on a Webkinz shopping spree, but unfortunatly my parents only give my $15 a week. I try to balance my money between my webkinz obession and my littlest petshop obession. So here is my "Spending Schedule" for one month.

First Week
1 Webkinz

Second Week
2 LPS Pet Pairs

Third Week
Kinz Style, TC, Figure, ect. That all add up to $15

Forth Week
1 LPS Pet Pair and a Lil'kinz

Way to budget, Jenny! I need to take lessons, most definitely. This week was a bad one as I didn't keep track of my online purchases. I will be taking out the trash this time, for sure!
