What Have You Sacrificed In Order To Buy WW Accessories?

OK I am fortunate to say I really do not have to give up any thing to get my webkinz or the accessories. I am a trading card addict. I am a stsy at home mom with 4 kids and my husband will occasionally pick me up cards if he goes to starbucks to get coffee..I actually hide my cards from my little one because she will cry for them. I give up drinking starbucks coffee twice a day,I cook diner home 4 times a week instead of 2 times, I keep 2 coin buckets one on the main floor of the house and one in my bed room for my husband and I to empty the loose change, I gave up my pedicures and last of all I buy my webkinz when they are on sale or when I get my justice or hallmark coupons.. But I really do not have to hide or sneek but I try to help the situation because I know it can be an expensive hobbie....

I'm a poor student so i never have any money. webkinz are like my reward for myself. once or twice a year when something really good happens i treat my self to webkinz stuff. i like to think someday all the schooling will pay off and i can just buy out a store of webkinz stuff.

Thanks for posting! I do the same thing with the two stacks, but I sort my cards too, or at least I did with my first box. I got a complete set, so I probably won't anymore, LOL. It's funny, I got a complete set of real cards (almost two), but I am really short on my virtual set. Oh well, I have some more cards coming.

I wish I had your patience with entering the codes. I can't seem to stop myself, but keeping stats on my loot so I can post it on the trading card comparison thread takes a lot of time, so it keeps me paced. Otherwise, I'd be ripping thru those things like a kid with a stack of graduation cards.

Let me know about the lemonade stand. I might need to apply for a job there for extra income!

Hmm, nothing I have had will power I gave up webkinz for a month to get Jonas Brothers Tickets tho.

I too, have a recession proof job - if I walked out today, I could have a job in 5 minutes. It is hard, but I am lucky too...and the bonus is I generally like doing it, because I make a difference in people's lives. So I count my blessings, and handle any stress by buying furry friends (and cards, clips, figurines, and charms - an an occ. estore item).

My trash crinkled too! I had read your post before taking it out, and laughed out loud all by myself when I heard it.

WW is my stress reliever too. I figure it is better than some of the alternatives to stress relief! I bet we have similar professions! Thanks for the laughs!

Off topic question...how do your pets become artists? Is it by going to the Academy? Man, there is so much to learn, and I have been on WW for almost 2 years!?! Always interesting.

In answer to your question, Lolakitty, re: my cow herd, I adopted four into one account.. where they room together... and gave 5 more away to my DDs .... It was a little embarrasing to tell them what I did! ... but they were quite happy as they could also now take part in the W-Cares!

Cows are ok...I already had a Big Kinz cow ...but I definitely didnt need nine more of them!

Oh the things we do for Webkinz...! ..the shame, the shame...!

chinnell, Giving up Starbucks for WW? Now THAT is a sacrifice! From one legal stimulant to another. Honestly, with all that you have going on, I don't know how you find the time to have ANY hobbies. My two little ones are a handful, let alone four! Good for you for doing something for yourself! And God bless your husband for bringing you cards!

I have also given up pedicures (the cheap ones), eating out too much (see--WW spending is making me healthier too, lol), and just started a coin bucket. Oh, the insanity...

Funny topic!! I have not yet "sacrificed" in the past, however,-had to slow down a bit...DD has braces in the near future, so-kinda have to make sure the dentist gets a bit richer HE could care less about our kinz "addiction"!!

i bought about 25 webbies in 2 months!!! i would go to hallmrk,walmart etc. and i would stand there with al of the other kids looking through boxes as the people that work there brought out boxes of webkinz i would by like 2 or 3 at a time!! i also for my birthday got like 20 packs of webkinz trading cards it was bazare!! i just bought 1 pack the other day because i am running out of moneyso ya but i am a crazed member i have gotten 41 webbies in a year in a alf actually like 60 or 70!!
