What did you name it? I want to know what to expect! Had a TC1 free pet named Codie (Frog, but didn't realize Series one gave you the pet pictured on the card), which can be a girl or boy name...
So far we've registered one of three free pets from S2 trading cards, it was a yellow lab (cool PSI, and a retired pet to boot) that I named T-C since it had to be at least 3 characters long and T.C. would not be accepted... Figured it was appropriate since he came from trading cards, and his room could be the Trading Card furniture themed room...
This might be helpful for naming mystery pets, since their gender is really only listed on the adoption certificate: Androgynous Names (Suitable for either boy or girl) At first glance I like Dale, Sandy, Jamie, Jan, and Pat from that list...
Good luck with the adoption of your mystery pet. | | | 08-25-2009, 12:28 PM | #42 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 210 | Re: Series Two Free Pets! Which one did you get? What did you name it? I want to know what to expect! I got two mystery pets from Series 4 trading cards. I got a lil kinz seahorse and a lil kinz white mouse. The first one, we put on my son's account. He was very exstatic when he saw that it was a sea horse. However, we selected the name Galaxy which doesn't really seem to fit a sea horse. I was a little dissappointed that you could not find out what the mystery pet was before you gave it a name. When I found the second code, I registered it on a new account to see what the pet was before I decided what to name it on my account. When I found out it was a white mouse, I cancelled the new account and placed it on my account. Maybe ganz could make a feature in the adoption center that could tell you what kind of mystery pet you received so it would be easier to choose a name and a gender! | | | 08-25-2009, 12:33 PM | #43 | ant to be a Deluxe Gift Guru Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 6,191 | Re: Series Two Free Pets! I have been very fortunate and lucky with finding mystery pets and even got two in one box of cards. Sorry, I did not keep track of which series they came from.
Here is the what I named them and what they turned out to be.
Charade......Tiger Snake
Enigma......Whimsy Dragon
Amunet......Husky..........Amunet was the Egyptian Goddess of Mystery
Mysteria......Persian Cat
Perplexity......Dalmatian
Rune......White Terrier
Conundrum......White Terrier
As you can see, I have named them all something that means mystery or is related to the word mystery.
Hope this sparks some ideas for you. Congratulations again! Have fun with your new pet! | | | 08-28-2009, 04:14 PM | #44 | callismom Gift Guru Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 2,759 | Re: Series Two Free Pets! Which one did you get? What did you name it? I want to know what to expect! I have now gotten two dalmations. The first my daughter insisted on naming June even though we got her in mid-July--who knows? And the second I named Fortuna after doing a poll when most people thought I should name her Lucky. My compromise.
FYI, I opened a TC1 pack today and it had October's golden retriever as the pet! I'm, obviously, waiting to adopt that one so have to start thinking of a name. | | | 08-28-2009, 04:57 PM | #45 | acky april fools!! Which one did you get? What did you name it? I want to know what to expect! If you buy a complete box you are pretty much guaranteed a pet. And you get such cool furniture and other goodies. It's so fun to always be surprised by what you'll get. | | | 09-04-2009, 10:14 AM | #47 | ǝlnɹ sʇloɔ ǝɥʇ Webkinz :) Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 10,070 | Re: Series Two Free Pets! What did you name it? I want to know what to expect! I got one recently, and my mom named it Harry Potter because my mom got the trading card pack. (It was a boy) I logged it in, and it turned out to be a White Terrier which turned out to have a Pink Bow on the side of it's head that cannot be removed So it seems like Harry Potter is a girl, but is actually a boy XD
