ok, so you people who are finding this stuff on sale, what area of the country are you in???

Conference in Southern Illinois 2 weeks ago near Springfiel, IL. Visited 4 (open) FYE's throughout the area- not a single card, piece of clothing or body spritz in any of their stores in that area. As a matter of fact, 2 displayed signage that were going out of business by August 1st.
Friendly recommendation to telephone first.

Stopped in the one store that had cards but no accessories so no sign. I talked to a salesperson but they said they had no information on that so even though they were series 3 cards, they wouldn't give them to me at $1. The best they could offer was $2.99 which was 30% off which is what all the trading cards are right now.

I live in Canada and never heard of a store named FYE...

I was told that we are not allowed to say what area of the world we are in, but I can I guess say that my stores are on the East Coast. My stores ONLY had the trading cards, clothing, sprays, lip glosses and animals - no figurines or other accessories. And in fact I had to nag them about the trading cards because it turned out they had four boxes BEHIND THE COUNTER! They also made a boo-boo and sold me the series 4 cards for the discount price even though they weren't supposed to. I am going to take photos of my hugely expanding collection later today, but it wouldn't be so huge if it weren't for FYE!

That being said, FYE as a store, generally speaking, is awful, and it's no surprise to me that many of them are going out of business. They are well known for charging considerably more for music and DVD releases than most stores.
