I think the contest idea is good...that would be awesome. But if thyhad them n the Estore, even once, it owuldn't be fair to everyone who has spent tons of packs looking for them...then everyone would have one.

I like the contest idea, but I am not so sure about the eStore idea. Some people bought packs and packs and packs of cards to get one. Some spent over a hundred dollars for one. If it was in the eStore, they would not have as much value.

Not sure if this has happened before or if this is the place to vent. Just opened a pack of trading cards and no code card. was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Ganz having a contest to win a Magical Retriever and a Mystical Panda would be a great idea. They should do a contest for each like the do for e-store pets. I have one of each, which I bought off ebay. I am a serious collector, and the only ones I don't have are the Cheeky Cat, Cheeky Dog, and the September release pets. I had bought tons of cards and finally just bought the Magical Retriever and Mystical Panda off of ebay to save money. I plan on buying the Cheeky Cat and Dog come income tax time and hopefully if they come out with a series five set of cards, the special rare pet that would come with it. Good luck on your bidding on ebay. I hope you win. My MP and MR are two of my favorite pets and are some of the ones I play with the most.

anyways, back to the magical retriever, i want one too! they are so cool and i love their color! good luck on finding one! and i think it is dumb that you have to go through all the packs for a pet.. they should make a contest

I think searching the card packs is half the fun of the hunt! Personal opinion though... I actually found my panda BEFORE I found the retriever. My DH gave me 10 packs of series 4 for my b-day this year and the panda was in there. For the retriever, I just happened to be at the local book store looking for Kinz Klips. I picked up 5 packs of series 3 instead... glad I did! The only problem is that I now have a huge surplus of doubles. My plan is to give them out on halloween to all of the trick-or-treaters. (p.s. more recently, I've seen 10 box cases being sold on ebay. If you have the money for it, that may be a good way to find one!)
