It would ruin the "chase" factor... It would sort of take the fun out of it if they just gave us everything we wanted... There would be nothing else to look for or trade for... That is untill the next new Webkinz get released...LOL... PEACE! This summer I watched three magical retriever cards on ebay that were all won by the same buyer. The three went for $455, $455.00, and $167.50. On the third auction, the main competitor gave up trying to bid against him. I suspect the winner may have been willing to pay the same high price if anyone bid more. Right now there is one on ebay that has a high bid of $152.50 with 2 1/2 days left, and so far the winner mentioned above has not placed a bid.
I'm not sure you will choose to buy from ebay, but I hope this info helps. I purchased a box of series three TC around the same time these auctions were going and had found a magical retriever card in that box. But if you are only looking for the one card, ebay may cost less in the end.
I really hope you find your magical retriever. |
