I thought it would be cool to go through what it is like to buy a box of trading cards.

9-29-09 I have always wanted a trading card box. The hardest thing to decide is:

How much does it cost?
Where can I get the money?
Which box do I want?
Where do I buy it from?

I kept thinking these things over and over and over (continues on) for a long time. I saved my money bits at a time and set it aside to get the box. (whatever it may cost) Then I found a great deal on amazon. My first box of trading cards is ordered! I am getting a Series 2 box! I have my box ordered! I am so excited! It was ordered this past Sunday! So far, I feel glad I did it. I decided I would get it because I am so close to getting the grand prizes. I also like that I have a chance at getting more than one code per card. I am so excited and am really anticipating the box coming in the mail. Will it pay off? Will I still feel this way when I get it?

Game Piece Poster Bed on sale? What does this mean? Are they actually going to start retiring trading cards? Did I get the right box? If they do start retiring them, maybe I made a good choice then. Only time will tell.

YAY! I received my box already yesterday! That was amazingly FAST! I have put in the the first 18 packs of cards and codes. So far, I am liking it. I did get 2 shrubbery beds already...I have the second 18 packs opened now too. I received a free pet! So, the 1 free pet in 36 packs turned out to be true this time. I will post later what the pet is. I still have yet to enter the last 18 packs' worth of codes. More updates later.

The game piece poster bed is in series one. I can't say for sure that they're retiring any trading cards, but I did read on somebody's ad on eBay that they're not printing series one anymore. Of course, they may have just said that to try to get more bids, who knows. Not to worry though; judging by the amount of series one boxes on eBay, there's stll plenty of them out there.
