I am confused again

I started on Webkinz in January. I started buying cards for the prizes and was trading the packs in the trading room on WW, because I didn't know about the prizes for collecting them all. As far as I can tell, there aren't any instructions anywhere saying to save them for big prizes.
Well, I must have given away a hundred packs very cheap before a WI friend told me the awful truth that I was robbing myself! Now this friend has told me that once you win all the prizes and the grand prize, that that is it. However, I saw today some folks say the album resets itself and you can start over. Which is true?
I started giving away my packs when I collected the grand prize. Am I robbing myself again? or is that really it? Thanks

The "reset" they're talking about is a glitch. Last year there were a couple of times where, without collecting any new cards, some players were able to click on their albums again and get all of the prizes they had already opened a second time. Some people were able to do it three or four times.

There haven't been any reports of this glitch happening in a long time.

Yeah, that happened to me. I clicked on one of my prizes, and left the album alone for a while because I didn't buy anymore packs. I went to it one day on a whim, and was able to get another one of the prizes on my account that I had already won. Too bad it didn't happen again, because I left it alone again and was hoping it would happen again, but it never did...I wasn't one of those three or four times people, unfortuntely...lol

Of course you can also put your packs on a 2nd account and open up the grand prizes again on that account. That's what I'm doing with the series two. I took more virtual packs and started them on my second account after I did all the prizes on my first account and I'll be able to open up the prizes on that second account when I get all the cards I need.

Thanks for the info. I feel better now. I am giving my extra virtual packs to a friend and am concentrating on the series one now. It is harder to get the cards and the prizes for series one. Does anybody know if series three or four is going to have virtual packs ever? I have seen an ad about an album for series three, but the real packs do not have a code for a virtual pack to collect in your account.
