Do you miss the older style Trading Cards like I do? ... or do you prefer Series III and IV?!

i love series 1 & 2 more than series 3 & 4, even though the newer ones have awesome virtual pets to win, the first ones are just better. also, when you play the real game, the first series are the only one you can play with. luckily, at a few stores they still have series 1 and 2...so i get them while i can!

I like them all. But 3 and 4 are my favorites. I wish I could still find 1 and 2 though....

I loved series one and two. I also enjoyed collecting them all to get those special card collector prizes at the end. I did earn a mystical panda from series four so that should be my favorite but I really liked when you could find cards with more than one code on them. It made things much more exciting for me anyway.

When I bought some series four trading cards my intention was never to get the mystical panda I never even dreamed I would find one. We just wanted some of the items you could get so we would have the new stuff everyone was trading at that time. That must be why I got the panda card because I was not like all hoping to get one or that.

I miss the trading gard Series I & II also. It was more fun cuz you never knew what you might end up with, then a trophy to boot! Awesome, totally cool.

At first I liked the newer series until I realized I had more posters than walls and no "Kinz Cash" is won. Big bummer there.

I did win a Magical Retriever, but I still like my Unicorns, Yorkies and other pets better. The clothes look better on them as the colors are a bit better. Perhaps I should have sold the Retriever on Ebay. . . NOT. What I should have done was give it to someone who really really love it! I have real golden retrievers and it doesn't even resemble them in any way shape or form.

An idea: They could have come up with a new game, like concentration or TGC go fish, or Puzzle Masters.

With series 1 & 2 I got too many coupons, food items, and W Shop items. Series 1- I always get good prizes.

I agree with you about keeping the older style and bonus collector prizes but make the prizes more like series 3 and 4.
We enjoy playing the challenge card game.
Not a big fan of the stickers & puzzle in the new sets.
I would rather have 1 good prize than 5 codes with kinz cash, food & curio shop items (That's all I ever seem to get).

Here's hoping series 5 will use the best of both styles !!

I like the old ones better in more ways, I think. I like the fact that you got more codes to put in and that you got virtual cards with prizes if you unlocked all of them. I liked the fact that there were animals that everyone could get and we weren't all wanting the elusive animals that only came one in 360 packs.

I do like the prizes better in the newer ones, in that there aren't Wshop prizes and stuff like that, but at the same time, I've heard of people that got a box of cards and got many of the same prizes in that box when they put the coles in.

All in all, I think the older cards are more of my favorite than the newer ones.

Yes, it does look like many of us would like a series of cards that combined the best of the old and the new! I do miss a lot about the older ones.....

It's nice to know I am not the only one who enjoyed the older cards with their many codes so much... even if we did get recipe and foods too much.... thats one part that I would change!
But I also do not like getting posters all the time in series 3 & 4!
