I just bought my second box of TC series one (didn't keep track of the first) and will report my findings tonight. My favorite local retailer sold me both for half off because they are anxious to get series 2, and had way too many series 1 and were looking to "clear the shelves" a bit. Unfortunately, it's the end of that road there though, because they are finally about out. My next stop will probably be ebay. At least they had been selling single packs for 20% off since I found the store.

I just buy them for the items I hope I will be getting...but have had to trade for most of the gamer's garden furniture...I mostly get the TC 2 furniture. I have not got any of the AC stuff. welcome to the two of you to this thread. it has been so amazing how we can piece together what everyone is getting and how the prizes seem to be dispensed in the boxes. i love being
able to chat with the friends here about our winning great items and moaning at times over the
w-shop items in the tc series 2 cards. i have enjoyed starting this thread and come to it everyday to see what everyone has posted. hope to see some of your results soon...and happy card collecting. | | | 04-14-2008, 09:07 PM | #82 | Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 7,436 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. I have won two or three virtual pets from series 1...none from series 2. I will probably pick up more cards during the extravaganza...I am wanting the space shuttle. | | | 04-14-2008, 09:26 PM | #83 | Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 3,964 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. Hm. It's kinda weird that it happened. I thought they were supposed to be randomly inserted? Also, what Webkinz did you recieve with your free pet code? | | | 04-15-2008, 12:59 AM | #84 | I now has bunny!!!!! Hello trading cards addicts! My kids starting collecting Webkinz about a month ago and I got hooked on the trading cards after buying a few packs. Mainly it was because I had two adult friends that are also collectors tell me they found a small flower shop that was selling the packs for $1/pack!!! I went there the next day and bought every pack I could get my hands on. I also had no clue about the virtual pets and now I'm constantly looking for my next card code fix. | | | 04-15-2008, 07:35 AM | #86 | i am chatty Gifted Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 40,233 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. are still selling series 1 for 50-60 a box not including shipping costs.
don't let them know, unless, they are trying to rid themselves of the tc 1 series.
good luck hunting for the virtual pets. i have gotten quite a few in both series and it is
nice to get a pet that way. | | | 04-15-2008, 11:24 AM | #87 | laurihof Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 12 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. I am just now getting ready to enter my codes, but I did get the exact same ratio as was mentioned at the beginning of this thread: 22 singles, 8 doubles, 4 triples, and 2 quads (series 1 box). I also got a virtual panda, which stinks because I had just bought three on ebay to get the kids and I ready for May's Pet of the Month! I was actuall looking forward to the tired old frog! LOL. I got the frog in my first box and put it aside to go in my son's birthday card coming in a couple of weeks; my daughter has the V-frog, but neither he nor I do. OK, now the fun begins! | | | 04-15-2008, 01:40 PM | #88 | i am chatty Gifted Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 40,233 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. OK, now the fun begins! interesting to see that the code counts are running fairly accurate. my last box, as i had
previously posted, was off by one code in 2 sections...but other than that the 22/8/4/2/ is running which is how i ended up starting this thread. it is very cool to see that there is a
general amount of cards they insert. at least you have an idea of how they run.
for what it is worth... congrats on the frog. i haven't seen a panda in the new series, i
have seen the koala, though. | | | 04-15-2008, 02:36 PM | #89 | MNCheerTwins Gifted Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 784 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. good luck hunting for the virtual pets. i have gotten quite a few in both series and it is
nice to get a pet that way. The very first full unopened boxes I opened were Series 2 cards. Yesterday I bought a box of Series 1 cards and struck a deal with the owner for $1.25/pack (original price $2.99/pack) so she was at least making her cost back. She was happy to get rid of the entire box because she'd had them for a while. I've noticed a lot of the smaller gift shops that people aren't aware they even sell Webkinz items are more then happy to bargin if it's been sitting there long enough. I had hit a small drug store nearby the day before and again the original cost was $2.99/pack but since I was buying 20 packs (everything they had left) and told her I usually pay .99/pack she gave me the same price. It's the larger corporate stores that usually can't make those decisions. I already went through my Series 1 box and I got 22 singles, 8 doubles, 4 triples, and 2 quads. Meet my new pet Juniper congrats on the great wheeling and dealing. i guess they want to clear out the old
supply and who's to know what you paid elsewhere for them. if i could get them for 99
cents a pack, believe i would. i just heard an actual radio broadcast today with an apparent
drug store in my area...i never ever heard of them... offering a free webkinz with a ten
dollar purchase. they are not around me so, i guess i won't be looking for them.. gas is
just too expensive. i see you got and named your free pet...juniper is such a cute name..
