Hit a different Walgreens while I was out today--mostly cocker spaniels. But they did have two elephants & a gold & white cat left. Took those (of course) even though I already have too many of both. LOL I'll log those in for emergency cash the next time my Asian account is running low.

From the codes: 1 balloon, 1 jacket, 1 TV, 1 painting, 1 armoire. And TWO wish tokens! Not bad for just three codes--although I was hoping for the sofa, statue, and bear. Or the dining room set, of course! I have an appointment in that area again in two weeks, so I'll have to see if they have the new pets then. I need a few bassets & grey & white cats.

Also pulled a mystery pet from a batch of cards yesterday--absolutely NOTHING interesting in the codes from those, but the mystery pet was a spotted frog, which for once was something I didn't already have.

AND...I got a WCares hat tonight on one of my accounts!!!!!!

congrats on finding a few w-cares pets that AREN'T the cocker spaniel. . i bought 3 of
them yesterday and stored the pets and entered the codes. igot another poster, a balloon,
and a clock. the kc in them was good.... but i wanted the statue, too. i hope that soon i
will find the bassett, the grey and white cat...even the elephant or the other cat would be
good as i have found one of each of them in my area. like i said above..... the cockers are
getting stored now.
almost done this box of cards and i have been giving the vtc to my granddaughter and she
is 2 at paw level cards away from unlocking the binder.... that will be a fourth time in our accounts in the boxes i have bought. ttfn

Our local Walgreens gets the truck in on Tuesday and by Wednesday I'm in checking things out. So far we've had elephants, cockers, gray & white cats and cows. No gold and white cats or bassets to be found yet. I'm about 50/50 on tokens, about 1 in every other. I've gotten 2 balloons, 2 clocks, 2 plushies, ice cream sandwich, chocolate bar, cookie, poster, couch and jacket. Hoping for bigger, but happy enough with what I've gotten.

Mel, you are so lucky that your Walgreens has pets...ours are not getting any shipments til the end of July! I hope the prizes you received are the ones you wanted.

all i can find is cockers.... i got 1 elephant and 1 gold and white cat...... i want the basset hound and the cow. just something different!!!!! nice gifts too. i was lucky and got the top hat in one prize and it looks so cute with the jacket.

i have no idea of when our local walgreens are getting them... it is stop in and then hit or miss.

I haven't finished my box yet but I got the last virtual card for TC1 I needed, finally got the etched window and the grand prize I am sooo excited...hopefully I will get more of the gamer's theme..still haven't got my backgammon table yet but I have some more cards to open...post the results later!

well, well, well, perserverance pays off!!!! so happy for you that you completed the tc1 binder!!! what did you think of the window????

i have 2 cards left in my current box..... opening them slowly.... results will soon be forth coming.

It was so odd to get almost duplicate packs with the TC2, I can't remember but I think the breakdown was 1 code, 2 codes, and 4 codes. Honestly, I get myself so excited with these packs, that it is all I can do but tally the gifts. There was no changes in my TC1 Virtual Tallies....but I think it is a really long haul to get that. I had really wanted to get that "Platinum Report Card Trophy" and award it to one of my kids...but the golden ones are just as nice.

I bought 8 random packs of Series 2 (and got what I deserved, because I know you tend to get worse prizes in S2, but I bought them anyhow...). Anyhoo... here's the breakdown:

1 card with 4 codes: a mohawk, 2 husky posters, and a TC2 fridge
1 card with 3 codes: a TC2 dresser, an ultramodern TV, and a heart topiary
1 card with 2 codes: a sedan sofa (bleh!), and 254KC
5 cards with 1 code: 243KC, 340KC, 743KC, wizard glasses (ugh), and a pop star stove (yuck)


After that disappointment, I bought a bunch of codes off eBay, 50 altogether (plus the virtual card codes):

2 cards with 4 codes: 320 KC, TC shoes, TC1 chair, TC pants; Quizzy poster, 296KC, 339KC, Dragster poster

16 cards with 2 codes: 287KC and 213KC, w-shop outfit and Zangoz poster, 178KC and ANOTHER IDENTICAL OUTFIT, classic gaming pedestal and TC1 dining table, classic gaming sofa and 860KC, another outfit and classic gaming toy box (woohoo, needed that one!), kooky scientist telescope and TC1 desk, 4870KC (WOW!) and classic gaming chair of diamonds, coupons and 104KC, backgammon chair and geographic globe, 85KC and Wacky Grazzdotazz, gaming dining table (another piece I needed!) and Zangoz poster, 138KC and 180KC, Knight of the Round Armor and 516KC, Experiment Station 1 and Kablookie Sandwich, 329KC and Quizzy poster.

10 cards with 1 code: Zangoz poster, game piece sofa, coupons, 196KC, 287KC, medieval coffee table (if only I hadn't bought that last week!), 127KC, TC pants, dicekinz pack, and 153KC.


My only real complaint with Series one is that I've entered SO MANY virtual card codes and have yet to finish the set. From the 28 codes I entered, I did not get a single Curiosity (need one) or Doodlez (need 3). So frustrating! I REALLY want that medieval TV! Other than that, though, I tend to get more enjoyment from Series 1.

i do agree that the trading cards series one have better kc prizes and the coupons are really super, but i got so tired of getting those posters. i like the tci outfit, but i am a real goner
for the tc2 outfit.
i kind of compare all of the studio packs and the dice kinz packs... kind of like all of the w-shop
items in series 2.... some people have gotten 4 or more studio packs in a box and they sell them for the kc just like the w-shop items get sold from tc 2.
i guess what they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and as far as the tc go,
it is all a personal preference as to which series you like better. i happen to really like the gamers garden theme in the tc 2 series. the bed is so nice and it is one bed that can go outside or inside. i also like the checkmate theme in series 1. i must say i actually love all the themes.

i hope that you can get the medievil tv.... it is really nice!!!
