i hate the issues with the duplicate gifts. when series three came out, till ganz addressed the issue, everyone was getting like ten or more pairs of flips flops and hardly anything else. i hope they soon fix this tc issue.

I finally started entering some codes from my box of series 1 cards last night. I'll post full details tonight but so far what I got includes lots of KC (two codes unlocked $1000 each), some TC furniture items, one piece of the gaming theme & some DiceKinz items. I played with my Zum Buddies for about an hour the other night but I left them alone last night. I added Zana the Peeking Zum (yellow) to the mix the other night. It was fun watching the three of them playing in the same room but I don't know if I can handle any more than that at one time. Zana seems easy to get Zummies from as long as you keep giving her things. She asks for food that she doesn't eat a lot though. She's very playful and interacted well with both Zed & Zlock. The three of them are getting expensive to keep up with. I need to get back to earning some KC so the $ prizes from the TC's will come in handy right now. And I also need $ for the new Rare items that Arte is starting to get. I wish that he would get the Gaming Theme items from the TC's in the Curio Shop.

i spent some time with my two buddies tonight and i had previously purchased a slew of things for them. i played for an hour with zed and zola and they were happy campers when i signed off...but not happy enough for a party

i love it when they play together. it seems like there are certain toys they will ask for and others that you have to kind of figure out what they are trying to impress upon you. mine love the bouncer, the rainbow blower, the bubble blower and a few other toys.
to get them to play together i wait till they are both just moving around and i take one of the two player toys and put it in between them and just when they get together i drop it. this evening like four times i got them playing together......... need to teach them to play nice

First off, congratulations to everyone on their awesome TC finds!

I'm still not over that $0.50 a BOX jackpot! I was excited when I found them for $0.50 a PACK!

Only thing I can find for 50 cents at my local thrift shops is someone's old underpants and I'm not that bad off...yet.

OK, OK, OK...y'all know I can resist anything but temptation...and since everyone has been talking about them so much lately...

I went out looking for Zum Buddies this morning.

First I hit the largest INDEPENDENT Webkinz retailer in my town.

Not only did they not have any Zum Buddies, they are getting out of the Webkinz business altogether because the company is such a pain to deal with.

OK, then I hit a large Hallmark...no Zum Buddies, no plans to carry them.

Hit a FYE, hit another Hallmark.

Is "Zilch" a Zum Buddy? If so, that's the only one I found.

Justice had a few for $15.99 and Amazon is asking.....$24.99 for them!

This is not boding well, is it?

FINALLY hit the largest FYE in my town and they had them for $9.99 each ($8.99 if you have a FYE card)!

All the retailers I talked to said they're the "hot, new thing".

So if you can find them and can afford them: BUY THEM WHEN YOU SEE THEM!!!


Going off to log one on. If it gives me too much 'tude, I'll put it in "time out".

You are too funny about the time out!! LOL So far I haven't had much attitude with my zumbuddies. You may want to add two as you earn zummies much faster that way.

Well I logged in THREE of them and they are a handful!

I think my new phrase at work will have to be "like herding Zum Buddies"!

Miss Spots gave me good advice to only try dealing with two at once, so I stuck one in a room by itself (to think about what it had done) and just played with two at at time.

So far, no matter what I do I'm not earning many zummies, but I am spending a pile of KC!

I did let one out to help Martha Stewart with the gardening this morning. Sweet as pie when it's just floating around Martha in the garden...a terror in its own room!

At least they don't embarrass me in public...

Well, got to try logging on again and "entertaining" them this morning.

No telling what they got into overnight...

i have had so much fun with these new friends. and 2 at a time is fine for me. since my work hours basically split my day in half i try to play for a half hour in the morning and an hour at night when i get home. i have gotten quite a few marbles amassed right now and have gotten several prizes for my rooms from previous marbles.
i am trying to figure out if there is a pattern to what color marbles the zummies give with different items. like, if i give them a certain food.... do the marbles seem to be awarded random color or a basic color. this will be interesting.
