Hi all,
A couple of us brainstormed through the night and now have a pattern you can follow-most quicly found on the "how I found the ghost" post I made under special events unless someone decided it was too much of a duplication......
I am up to 8 candies on 2 accounts, 7 on most others, and one really unlucky account has 4......

It has been far and above much more satisfying to figure out the pattern than actually get the candy.

I agree totally with your cycle for the ghost. It is ridiculous how long it takes to find him sometimes!!
As for the codes, I had a problem with one of my codes. I don't know about the other as my husband hasn't forwarded it to me yet. I hope you are able to get one for each of your daughters!
I'm hoping they will fix the ghost tomorrow and he will appear more frequently so everyone can collect all the candy.
I haven't traded in a long time and never for a super rare item like that, but I think it's sad that someone did this.
Congratulations on finding those diamonds! They were definitely easier to find than the ghost!! That's great that your mom's account is doing so well!
Okay, here is my ghost finding procedure...
I don't sit on the computer all day. I just don't have time for it. But I do take my laptop to whatever room I'm working in and check on my pet periodically so I don't get logged off. When I hear the ghost, I just go to the computer and click on him. I have my sound turned up all the way! It's funny because it's really loud when he pops in a room! Tonight, we were watching "The Shining" and they were zoomed in on Jack Nicholson's face as he was chasing his son into the shrubbery maze when the ghost popped into the room and did his MWAAAA HAAAA HAAA!!!! I think we all jumped! LOL I've gotten a lot done around the house this way and was able to wait for the ghost, too!!

I hope you all have better luck tomorrow with the hunt!!

i just don't have the time needed to find the ghost. not having a laptop, i can't do that!!! i don't think they would appreciate me taking one to work anyhow

i read your post and how you came to the pattern you did. i just wish i had the time to follow anyone's ideas

congrats on doing so well with the trick or treating. maybe you will get all of the candies and get that super super prize on the unlock. i know my chances are slim to none.

thanks for the encouragement, but i just ran out of patience this afternoon after sitting in a room for a half an hour.
to follow a theory or pattern you have to GET the ghost first!!!!! i found it once the first day... since then, when i have gone in to wait, i have seen nothing.

Sorry you're having such bad luck with the ghost. I'm incredibly stubborn and have 6 pieces on one account. I really want that pumpkin. But it does take a long time to find the ghost. This is the most ridiculous game they have ever made!!

But onto more exciting topics.... Did you SEE the psi's for the November birthstone dog??? I will have to adopt that dog to make my gemstone bathroom perfect. Also, the carving valley tree is just gorgeous!!! November is going to be a great month!

Mayapal's theory is perfect, wish I could give another rep!

I figured out I'm on server 11, if I'm in the lt green zone in the collector's room at 10:48...there's a ghost....so every 3 hours just go the same room. My best luck is in the collector's room...tried the theory...got 2 candies tonight. Half way there, have 6 now...maybe there is chance for me to get that jack'o lantern...

I totally agree!!! I've had much better luck with it. I still don't find the ghost each time, but I'm doing better than I did before. I was able to give rep to mayapal but I wish I could give her about a hundred more!!!! I pray that Ganz doesn't change it now that we know how it works! Good luck today everyone!

i haven't collected any of the gemstone pets, but they have all been interesting and cute.
between getting into caring valley and taking my pets back to SCHOOL.... i have other areas i want to focus on!!! but i do agree the psi's have been really cute.

as far as the ghost goes, for ANY pattern to work for me, i need to be able to get back in at the 3 hour periods and going to wrok for 8 hours really messes that up. i still give it to all of you for your perseverance.

i don't think ganz will change the "pattern" now. it is too far into the game. but then again with them.... you never know

I thought immediately of your Gem Bathroom when I saw the November pet. It is really cute. But they really need to have someone explain to them what the characteristics of each type of Dog are. This one looks more like a beagle or spaniel with those long floppy ears. Terriers have the pointy ears that stick up.

Absolutely love the new tree for November also. I will definitely need at least two of them.

I'm doing better now that I've sort of figured out my patterns & know which servers my accounts are on. The other night was very frustrating even with the pattern because I couldn't seem to find the right track for my accounts. Last night I managed to get 2 candies on each of my three accounts so I should be able to finish up before Saturday. I was figuring that as long as I am able to get at least two candies each night on each account I should be able to finish up all my accounts. Mom just got her last candy a little while ago so now she is going to try to get some on my accounts. I called to let her know that the time intervals had changed but she had already finished up. She was wondering why she got her last candy at a different time than expected.

Love the bosses at work graphic miss spots. I miss being able to play with my webbies during my downtime at work. Stupid firewall. With the new schedule maybe you will have a bit more luck finding the ghost if you try.

On a brighter note, Last night I finally got the last star I needed for my Fairy Throne from Alyssa on my main account (the Pyro Pearl is the elusive one for me). And I got my 15th silver key for the second time. Got booted out when I tried to unlock the door to choose my prize though. I thought they had fixed that glitch. I also won the Amaryllis Quick draw on my signature account. So all in all it was a very productive night for me.

Congratz on the quick draw and the fairy throne! I have had all my silver keys and the gold (finally!) and can't unlock either...the only good thing was the next key I found in Magic Mire was emerald...makes me wonder if you get the color of keys that's available, haven't received another one yet, but I love theories!

Managed 4 candies so far today on my main account, think I try for another series on my asian, just need to figure out that schedule!
