2.99 a pack + 6% tax
tax goes up here to 7% as of tomorrow 4/1 so it'll even be more
some small shops will give you a break on a box if you ask | | | 04-02-2008, 07:07 PM | #32 | daelcare Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 3,421 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. I just got 2 more TC1 boxes today and the numbers weren't the same as they have been! There was only 1 Doodlez card in the one box and there were no 4-Code cards in the second box! | | | 04-04-2008, 07:45 PM | #33 | i am chatty Gifted Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 40,293 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. Mighty Moolitia Gifted Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 5,319 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. OK. Back with the results of my purely scientific study.
Here is the additional data I compiled from opening a box of TC I and recording the results.
In an earlier post, I confirmed Miss Spots' hypothesis regarding the 22, 8, 4, 2 theory of code prize distribution (in re singles, doubles, triples and quads) and it seems from subsequent reporting from other researchers regarding their own independent data, we are near the point in our experimentation that we can call that one a "rule". As much as anything is a "rule" in WW!
The 22/8/4/2 theorem produces a total prize output of 58 units, as mentioned by an earlier researcher.
Here is my data, first broken down by total units per box produced by code:
Total Box (58 Prizes)
24 Kinz Cash (overall 41.38% chance)
8 Classic Gaming Furniture (13.79%)
6 TC I Furniture (10.34%)
6 TC I Posters (10.34%)
4 W-Shop Clothing Ensembles (6.90%)
3 Sets of Coupons (4.17%)
3 TC I Clothing Items (4.17%)
1 Bag of Groceries (1.72%)
1 "Secret" Recipe (unlocked long ago) - (1.72%)
1 Zingo Dice pack (1.72%)
1 Experiment Station (1.72%)
Interestingly, the doubles produced the last four items (the only occurrences of them in the box.)
To further break it down, here is how it broke by number of codes per card:
Singles (22 Prizes):
10 Kinz Cash (45.45%)
5 Classic Gaming Furniture (22.73%)
2 TC I Furniture (9.09%)
2 W-Shop Clothing Ensembles (9.09%)
1 TC I Poster (4.55%)
1 Set of Coupons (4.55%)
1 TC I Clothing Item (4.55%)
Doubles (16 prizes):
4 Kinz Cash (25.00%)
2 TC I Furniture (12.50%)
2 TC I Posters (12.50%)
1 Classic Gaming Furniture (6.25%)
1 W-Shop Clothing Ensemble (6.25%)
1 Set of Coupons (6.25%)
1 TC I Clothing Item (6.25%)
1 Bag of Groceries (6.25%)
1 "Secret" Recipe (unlocked long ago) - (6.25%)
1 Zingo Dice pack (6.25%)
1 Experiment Station (6.25%) (Woo hoo!)
Triples (12 Prizes):
6 Kinz Cash (50.00%)
2 Classic Gaming Furniture (16.67%)
1 TC I Furniture (8.33%)
1 TC I Poster (8.33%)
1 Set of Coupons (8.33%)
1 TC I Clothing Item (8.33%)
Quads (8 prizes):
4 Kinz Cash (50.00%)
2 TC I Posters (25.00%)
1 TC I Furniture (12.50%)
1 W-Shop Clothing Ensemble (12.50%)
OK, what does all this mean? Reckon it means if you buy a box. you're gonna get mostly Kinz Cash, some really good stuff and some klunkers.
Yeah, we knew that, but isn't this fun?
For the sake of science, I purchased another box of TC II. The codes follow the 22/8/4/2 pattern (along with another Mystery Pet!)
Noticed that the cards broke down like this: 2 At Paw Level, 4 W Tales, 17 Challenge and the rest base cards.
Will report back when I unlock these! I must pace myself again due to the scientific data gatering bender I went on with the box of TC I... | | | 04-05-2008, 03:23 AM | #35 | yayapetal Webkinz :) Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 16 | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. I love the trading cards!
I buy them on ebay too -packs of 10 for around $25. They are almost $4 in stores here when tax is included so it's a really good deal for me and I can't afford to buy a whole box at once. | | | 04-05-2008, 04:15 AM | #36 | Guest | Re: Comparison Of Code Cards In Tc 1.0 And 2.0. I am sitting here at my computer, cracking up. AuntMary57, miss spots, and others I have forgotten ( old age ) you are so funny. I also buy many cards, but never have kept track of what and etc. You all made my day. I have to admit when I get the wardrobe items ( never buy section) I get upset, I am greedy hehehehe. The food also. greedy but I do love the opening of the cards, and then dividing the items up between my and my grandkids accounts. I also have been buying plastic pages for the cards and have made at leats 8 complete books of the cards, except for the foil and doodles. Those I sell on e-bay. I am over 55, (5 grandma and love my webkinz, and the people here. tpyo
---------- tpyo added 5 Minutes and 19 Seconds later ---------- Oh almost forgot have any of you found a card like this. I found it about 2 weeks ago from a series 1 set. Have heard of 3 others, and wonder what they are. tpyo Last edited by tpyo; 04-09-2008 at 01:26 PM..
