Breezy Corners, I'm I'm familiar with the Bappomattox area. Had friends to go to Blongwood even though I went to Bradford. (All of us graduated in about the Class of 1812 according to my nieces.) I'm to the west of you...we have a mountain in the city limits and sometimes at night I can see the stars...particularily the big honkin' sixty foot neon one parked on that mountain! Love it!

Kayakinz, I loved your story about IT trick y'all played on your co-worker! Unfortunately where I work, that would be called an "upgrade"! I think binsurance is so conservative they're still waiting around to see if this computer stuff is gonna catch on before the get into it.

TOPIC: I did enter 6 of my singles out of the latest TC Is. Got a Webkinz Studio pack, a classic gaming furniture piece (chair), pack of coupons, bag of groceries, a what not to wear ensemble from the W-Mart and a TC I poster.

HA! Thank goodness for preview! I almost told y'all I got a classic gaming piece CHER!

yeah, from you next to last post... seems like a lot of new people have hit the thread
and have posted some results on the card counting. i have to get my results up from
i think the second box, though when i went in,......talking oldtimers disease...lol i forgot
to enter the last six packs of codes. but when i do post, it looks like it will be fairly
close to the 22/8/4/2 counts.
i must have fallen asleep at the computer, or thought i had finished the count. i am
just so lost!!!!!!

Aunt Mary, you posted above "Since you summoned my inner geek, I also noted that the 36 packs had 2 Doodlez foils, 4 Curio Shop foils, 18 Challenge cards and the rest were base (or game) cards." Did you mean the actual cards or the virtual cards? We've been testing a theory ourselves and it seems like there is only one virtual card per box of the hardest series (TC1 Doodles and TC2 At Paw Level). We completed the TC2 series and are still 1 away from TC1 - the last box had a Doodles that we already had.

There is only one virual pet per box. It states it on the side of the Series 2 boxes but not the Series 1.

We have A LOT of stores participating in the Webkinz Extravaganza April 25-27 for Webkinz 3rd anniversary and all of them are having the special of spend $10 and get a FREE Webkinz (of a certain selection of animals only). I also have one store that is doing coloring contests, Jellybean count contests and more! It's very exciting and we already have a group of kids going to our local mall (which houses three seperate Webkinz dealers) the first day after school.

mncheertwins....... the radio broadcast was not pertaining to the webkinz day extravaganza. i think maybe they are trying to get in some bucks ahead of the ganz event, knowing that they will be hurting that weekend. they were offering a free webkinz with any ten dollar purchase!!! this was just a drug store and i think the event is being held by card stores.... though i may be wrong. i have to get to my fav card store tomorrow, as the managers meeting for this event is today. i told my fav rep there( the manager) i would be back to get the latest update on what they found out. will be interesting to have a heads up.

VTCs are something I forgot to count! Must...buy...another...box!

I did finally unlock those last two cards in the virtual base set in the TC Is. And I agree, if you do score one of the harder ones, it's gonna be one you already have.

Gotta run...something I have learned is NEVER trust the KinzTime clock when you have to go to work! NO WAY I could explain that one to my boss..."I'm sorry I was late but Martha Stewart and I were doing the gardening this morning and according to the KinzClock, we had PLENTY of time!"

Lucky you to get the fun early! We're all aching here for another week and a half! You're probably right, trying to get ahead of the game since they're somewhat unknown. We have a kids clothing store here in MN that's had a selection of 12 different Webkinz buy one get one free forever now.

mncheertwins.... the one real close to me is a little card shop and he has been doing buy 4 get one free and i keep checking in with him because his prices are good... reg webbies for 9.99 and lil kinz for 7.99... but the company keeps messing with him and he hasn't gotten anything lately as they keep messing his orders and cancelling them..you name it. he is so frustrated and i feel for him. he is actaully one block away from me...oh the gas savings.... but he has had nothing to buy. he hasn't even gotten any cards ro figurines in. i really like the fact he is so close, i wish i could give him my sales.

Miss Spots, I did Webkins Patrol around my regulars today and even the big guy had nothing.

And I mean NOTHING. Had time to talk to one of the little guys ("little" even tho they are affiliated with a certain card monopoly that has you stick the little gold crown on the back so they will know you cared enough to send the very best...but I digress...) and they told me Ganz hasn't SHIPPED ANYTHING for weeks!

I returned from lunch hour patrol and told a friend of mine I found no new Webkinz. She figured everybody HAD them but just wasn't putting them out until the extravaGANZa. I told her what I learned...

Also learned that the "buy $10, get a free Kinz' deal is limited to a selection of 14 free Kinz...IF Ganz gets them to the retailers on time.

Haven't found what those 14 are yet, but figure they are golden oldies that most kidz have, and by "golden oldies", I don't mean anything rare, just over-runs!

I fear for the children...

TOPIC: I was so horrified that I forgot to tally VTCs that I am currently going through my VTC binders and counting things up!

So far all I have is a horror over just how many card packs I have bought...

BTW, Miss Spots great deal your guy has on the webbiez, not just the cards! I may be forced to resort to FYE and buy two (Big or Lil Kinz) for $25. Nieces have big tests coming up in skool and need their rewards!
