well, i just finished entering the codes from a box of series 1.0 cards and a box of series 2.0
cards. i had been wondering how the code were distributed in the boxes and if the second
series had more or less multiple code cards in them and this was my finally tally

i had 22 single code cards
8 double code cards
4 triple code cards
and 2 cards with 4 codes on them
this was in the series one cards.

on the count for the series 2 cards... the counts were ALL the same 22,8,4,2. and each box had one virtual pet.
so from as near as what i see, the codes are placed in the boxes from one series to the other
in bascially the same sequence. has anyone else kept track of how the card codes break down????

at this point in time i am only updating color packs for the mystery pets. there is so much inconsistent data for the virtual items that there seems to be enough data to go with. i still want our friends to come and share what they win from the cards REGARDLESS of the series they have opened. we love to share with everyone on the great and sometimes not so great prizes!!!!!

just as an fyi, this thread DOES NOT say that a specific color pack is where you will definitely find a specific item or pet. all of the codes are random and this is just to give everyone an idea of where members have found pets. and prizes.

there has been an assortment of new pets found in this series....

PURPLE MONSTER (E-STORE), clown fish, lil kinz sea horse, schnauzer, bengal tiger, emperor dragon, porcupine, skunk, tinkerpup(e-store) eagle, american albino, crocodile, lil kinz white mouse, dolphin....... if you see any new ones that aren't posted here you can put them in a post and i will add it to the list.

I recently bought a couple of boxes of each series (some for my nieces and some for me me me!) but didn't think to keep a count!

I do know that each box I opened had a virtual pet, but was too intent on seeing what I might get to tally the others. When you're over 50, you get your excitement where you can find it.

I'm going to subscribe to this thread and next time I get a box will let you know. In the meantime, it will be interesting to see what others have found.

i was just curious to see if they put the same amount of different codes in each series of cards. i too am over 50 and this is just too much excitement for me, too. i love the cards, the prizes and the fun of saying.... what do we have today.
i do pace myself on opening them.. i make it like i bought a few packs a day, just so the box lasts longer. but waiting like that can get me hating myself for making me wait. hahahaha!! please check back in if you ever have the chance to really get a tally. i would like to see if they coincide with mine tallies.

Did you hit a recent patch of your "good prize" being an additional pack of virtual trading cards?

Seems like I did and it was on the T2 cardss with a single prize code.

Didn't seem to matter when I entered them either.

Sometimes early morning before 6 - 7 am, (then go to work in real world), sometimes evenings 5 to 7 pm, sometimes too late to admit, but late late night.

Is there a pattern for when the good stuff is handed out?

i haven't noticed a pattern on how the prizes come out. i have opened them early morn, late night, heavy traffic, slow traffic.... quick, fast you name it... the prizes always seem to be very
selective( for lack of a better word) i get good ones the gamers theme is super, and so is the new tc theme. i would love to get some of the new ancient civil. items... i did get the wading pool, but i would love the bed!!!!

Well in the name of science (I WAS a science major back in college, but according to my nieces, the early eighties was shortly after the Earth cooled and I rode a dinosaur to school, therefore not so much to learn as today) I went out and bought a box of TC I to test your theory...

Yep, the 22, 8, 4, 2 rule held. I also got a free pet. This one has a pic of a frog, last one had a pic of a dog. Haven't logged either on yet...

Since you summoned my inner geek, I also noted that the 36 packs had 2 Doodlez foils, 4 Curio Shop foils, 18 Challenge cards and the rest were base (or game) cards.

I LOVE the gamer's garden theme! Can't wait until I have enough posts to trade stuff! Since I've becpme hip to this site, I've been saving things to trade instead of selling them for KC!

I buy boxes through ebay, webwiztoys.com, postalsweets.com. An when a need a trading card fix, I go to my local Hallmark store. I love doing the cards, can't wait to get the gamers theme, and by the way, grandma over 50 here also! LOL

As to where to buy a box, if I see cards for sale on the counter, I just ask the retailer if they have an entire opened box they will sell me.

Sometimes they'll give you a break. Sometimes they ask same price as one card. Times 36!

Depends on how badly you want them...

Best prices are on-line. I've seen boxes go for $50 - $60. Much better deal than you will get from someone who has already bought them intending to sell them by the pack...

Coincidence on the stats? Hmmm, don't know.
