Too funny about the GED, Miss Spots! There are days when I wished that were an option. I'm four days away from earning more prizes for my youngest ds! He is very excited!

Trading posters for plants? What a grand idea...I wish they had a section of surplus trading card items to trade for something else...kinda like the wish machine or Doug. When doing TC1 - I could have traded 100 trillion Webkinz Studios....TC 3&4 Posters and the girl scout outfit! You can't even give these away in the TR or on the GE even as a bonus thank you! The thing that the studios were good for..was always tons of KC. I could always top off my KC by at least 10,000 per "box". Sometimes I think that I expect too much, and don't have "beginner's eyes" to appreciate things more. It makes me sad when I get upset - even when I get a cookie on Star Search. I need to practice more appreciation.

You guys are SICK!! I just bought about 18 packs of cards from my local FYE (first time card buyer) for $1 each (12 series 2, one series 3 pack, and 5 series 4 packs. After opening my codes, and finding many odds and ends, including 2 virtual pets from the series 2 cards (a lil kinz mouse, and a player to be named later), I decided to log on to WI to see what the fuss was about.

I accidentally stumbled onto this thread after searching for a long long long time, and discovered a bunch of sick people obsessed with throwing their money away for some silly cards, with the hope of uncovering VIRTUAL happiness through animated silliness.

After wasting my time reading silly posts for almost two hours, I promptly ordered three boxes of WW trading cards on ebay--one box of series 2, one box of series 3, and one box of series 4. I will post my findings, but only so you all will realize how ridiculous this all is.

And if I have to do it all again to prove my point, then so be it!

i think instead of a prom dressin the deluxe box, they should have put a cap and gown!!! it may have given me the incentive to go to night k/a school!!!!!

you got a great deal at f.y.e. i went there the other other day looking for cards and all they had were series four and didn't offer them up for the dollar packs. they had none of the others!!!!

isn't it fun to get those silly little mystery pets???? the mouse is so cute!!!!

Oh my, I was addicted by the first code. Then, when I got my first mystery pet, I was fried, with a glazed look in my eyes. It's like winning the lottery every time!! When I ran out of cards, I decided to do a little research before buying more, which is how I ended up on this thread. (I also opened my second account. YAY!) The promise of more goodies was too much.

I can't believe that it has taken me so long to discover the trading cards, since that is one of my favorite games (which is why I don't "get" the series 3 and 4 cards, as they aren't based on the game, but who am I kidding, I just want the LOOT!!).

My 4 1/2 year old got a pet when he was 3 as a gift, and when I adopted his pet for him, I quickly realized that he was way too young. So here I am, almost 2 years later... (He is on Webkinz Jr. now, and has learned so much!)

Can't wait for my boxes!! Glad to be here! You all had me at hello.

Oh yes, and the 22/8/4/2 (or something) rule held true to my 12 packs of series 2 cards, more or less, in proportion, of course. I will post my results of my boxes soon. Wish me luck!

the loot does tend to be the BIG DRAW with the cards.
my daughter and grandkids gave me a webkinz about 3 1/2 years ago..... my daughter said "you like playing games on line, well they have some cute games. and you can play them with the kids." well..... that being said.....i adopted my leopard MISS SPOTS and became HOOKED .
but not to the games per se, but to designing rooms. the trading card items give you a different way to decorate them.

i can't wait to see what you get.

It's an addiction...these cards! Then it happens....we dream of codes...W22 and our mind goes blank ....there a crazed look in your eyes (I can't see it, but my DD does..."Mom, you bought cards, didn't you?") ...the cards are the best and the worst (grrr...posters! ms. cowoline skirts, etc...) but when you open the one you've been waiting it's exhilaration! Only our dear friends here share the agony and pure joy of tearing apart those packs...Welcome aboard!

Can't wait to see what you get! That is almost as much fun as opening them yourself!

A while back, our dear friend Little Dog managed to finally unlock the last card for series one, Goober...I really wanted to flag it to make FRONT PAGE news! To me it was!

It's a disease. 'Fess up y'all. Has anyone gone without something that is a necessity? Has anyone had to hide purchases from loved ones? Has anyone had to pay cash, or minimize a screen when someone walked into the room (my sister-in-law), or bury opened pack wrappers in the trash?
