Miss Spots, I did Webkins Patrol around my regulars today and even the big guy had nothing.

And I mean NOTHING. Had time to talk to one of the little guys ("little" even tho they are affiliated with a certain card monopoly that has you stick the little gold crown on the back so they will know you cared enough to send the very best...but I digress...) and they told me Ganz hasn't SHIPPED ANYTHING for weeks!

I returned from lunch hour patrol and told a friend of mine I found no new Webkinz. She figured everybody HAD them but just wasn't putting them out until the extravaGANZa. I told her what I learned...

Also learned that the "buy $10, get a free Kinz' deal is limited to a selection of 14 free Kinz...IF Ganz gets them to the retailers on time.

Haven't found what those 14 are yet, but figure they are golden oldies that most kidz have, and by "golden oldies", I don't mean anything rare, just over-runs!

I fear for the children...

TOPIC: I was so horrified that I forgot to tally VTCs that I am currently going through my VTC binders and counting things up!

So far all I have is a horror over just how many card packs I have bought...

BTW, Miss Spots great deal your guy has on the webbiez, not just the cards! I may be forced to resort to FYE and buy two (Big or Lil Kinz) for $25. Nieces have big tests coming up in skool and need their rewards!

I have tons of doubles/triples that I don't know what to do with. I started it on my daughters account months ago & just now finally got her the first prize. (The golden trophie). I still need about 9 real cards & 7 virtual cards...I get them at Carlton Cards, 9 pks for $30.00.

I just got the list from our local retailer of the 14 webbies that Ganz shipped for distribution during the extravaganza. They are all big Kinz: pig, lion, golden retriever, cocker spaniel, frog, bear, lion, poodle, tiger, alley cat, yorkie, persian cat, leopard, and the black and white cat.

Those are all basically the same pets that have been on buy 1/get 1 free forever it seems. When I asked my local Justice for Girls store about the end date for that promotion, they said Ganz just keeps shipping them out!

We're not having a shortage of any plushes around here except the lil kinz Mouse. NO ONE has that in stock. Justice has plenty of all the other April releases, I bought their last mouse a week ago & they haven't gotten any new ones. They're also pretty low on the cards.

Bought **most** of a box--the only one they had--of TC2s from a local Hallmark today. NO MOHAWKS! This was very disappointing, as were the number of WShop "sprees" with stuff I have zero interest in. I miss the coupons!

We did unlock the first two prizes, the trophy & the shuttle, which is WAY quicker than we did on TC1--probably about a box & a half worth of cards to do that. Only have two cards each for the other two so far though. Good thing I plan another box on my next payday since I need more Gamer's Garden pieces. We still haven't unlocked the top two on TC1 either--we've been one card away on both of those for about a month & a couple dozen packs.

Gosh these cards are addicting! I find myself antsy to get more and when I do get some I can't even wait to get home to open them. I've opened them everywhere from my car to the mall bathroom! Ha ha!

mncheertwins.... you really have me rolling on the floor.. my daughter and i went out
one day and she wanted to get cards for the grandkids, but she had me pick them out as
it seemed like i always picked ones either with multiple codes or a free pet. once done
with the card selecting, she had to sit in the car and open all the packs. she thinks i am so
addicted, but i was laughing at her, as the ones she had picked were single codes and the
the ones she had me pick were multiples... one with four codes.
i am antsy, too... looking for those cards to open and feel kind of lost when the box is
finished and there is nothing for the moment. i keep thinking, if i get more, i wonder what
i will get and that will be the fact for the day, as daughter and i get together to go do some
window shopping after the grandson goes to school.

aunt mary... i just never seem to hit it when you are on. one day we will be on at the same time.... maybe soon. same to everyone esle who has taken the time to come here and post.

I wish I could get my mother in to the whole webkin world. She is retired and loves to gamble so I really think she'd love the TC and collecting. I'm so happy there are peeps older than I that are addicted too. I Feel so happy.

I will admidt I really didn't like the whole Webkinz phenomenon at first but it started to grow on me when we opened the WW account... Now I'm obsessed!

I haven't done the math but I've opened a few boxes of each set. What I like about series one is the coupons, more money. The bag of groceries is kinda of lame. The room pieces and rares are cool.
Series two the money isn't as good and no coupons. Kinzstyle shopping bag is awesome. I love the garden game theme. Not as many rare pieces but you get ancient theme in it. It only took about 3 boxes of series 2 to unlock all the prizes. I gave up unlocking with series one. I got the first three prizes and can't get the last two.
