Beautiful job on making this thread. It was very easy to understand it all. I think the final prize is a fireplace also. I wonder if it has stockings hanging on it. I hope you're right about the flickering fire. I've been wishing all the fireplaces were like that. Reps for you!! Thanks so much for the time and effort that went into this. It's very much appreciated. | | | 10-19-2008, 02:38 AM | #84 | Guest | Re: How to have fun decorating your Tree with the NEW ORNAMENTS - with detailed CATALOGUE Awesome Guide Webberlily! Thanks so much. I'm very excited. I want them all! My local store doesn't have them yet. I made a spreadsheet that may help everyone use the info Webberlily posted. I also have a suggestion. (Maybe someone already posted something like this but I didn't read every post in Webberlily’s thread.) You will probably want to make sure that you can fill all the decoration slots on your virtual tree. You will need to have at least one topper, one garland, one base, and five virtual ornaments. That's a total of 8 decorations. Because you get 3 virtual decorations with each code, you would need to purchase at least 3 of the real world ornaments. Here is a spreadsheet to help you figure it all out. I had to guess as to which category (ornament, topper, garland, or base) on a couple of the items because I only had the pictures to go by. Let me know if there are any errors and I'll fix it. I'll post a picture and then attach the Excel file. The ornaments fall into 4 groups. Group A) This group does not give you a second virtual ornament. Instead, you get both a garland and a base. Group B) This group gives you a second virtual ornament and a garland. Group C) This group gives you a second virtual ornament and a base. Group D) This group gives you a second virtual ornament and a topper. In the Excel spreadsheet, I have sorted the ornaments by group. If you are only getting 3 and you want to make sure that you can fill all your decoration slots on your virtual tree, then you have the following options: I) A:0, B:1, C:1, D:1 – you will get an extra virtual ornament II) A:1, B:1, C:0, D:1 – you will get an extra garland III) A:1, B:0, C:1, D:1 – you will get an extra base IV) A:1, B:0, C:0, D:2 – you will get an extra topper Webberlily, if you think it is worthy and helpful, feel free to add this to your guide. You did a great job. I just used your guide to compile this spreadsheet. This doesn't have any new info here but it’s searchable. And I hope it makes it easy to see which real world ornaments gives you what kind of virtual decorations. Again, I had to guess a little on which type of decoration some of the virtual items are. Please, if you discover any errors, PM me and I’ll fix it ASAP. I've discovered an error in the spreadsheet. My groups were numbered but I was refering to them by letters. Silly me. Anyways, I've updated the spreadsheet and the picture so if you already dowloaded it, you may want to download it again. Last edited by IvyKinz; 10-20-2008 at 01:46 PM.. Thanks for doing this. Now we know what to buy. If it's not too much trouble, can you indicate which items are animated? I love animated items. And how do I give you and Ivykinz rep points? Thanks. | | | 10-19-2008, 03:16 AM | #87 | Snackerdoodle,Imanan Webkinz :) Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 340 | Re: How to have fun decorating your Tree with the NEW ORNAMENTS - with detailed CATALOGUE Love all the gr8 info! And Snugglebunny72's idea 4 an advent calendar, too! I think Robmomm mentioned our sponsor & how kewl it would be if offered as a set -even better if it was an installment plan, like order in sets of 8, maybe over the next 2-3 months! Did you say you couldn't Kinzpost any of it? | | | 10-19-2008, 03:22 AM | #88 | Guest | Re: How to have fun decorating your Tree with the NEW ORNAMENTS - with detailed CATALOGUE Originally Posted by belleian hi Webberlily. Thanks for trying to give me rep points.
I think I have to make a separate thread for you to do that.
So ... I'll make a thread with this info.
But I think it would be great to have it all in one place.
So I hope Webberlilly will add it at the bottom of her first post. | | | | 10-19-2008, 03:44 AM | #89 | uv U! Ivy, you don't have to do a separate thread, in fact it's best to give rep points from the place where the rep-worthy thing happened. And it's best to keep everything in one place. To give rep points: scroll down near the bottom of the post that pleased you. On the left there is a little icon of a thumbs up. Click on that and a window will open. From then on, you just follow very simple instructions, write a message why you are leaving rep points, click ok.
The trick is to notice where the little thumbs-up icon is, if you've never noticed it before. It's in the bottom left corner of the box with the post that you want to rep. Easiest to find on a short post. Every post has that thumbs-up icon on it. Right above the word Reply. There are four little icons there: the one that turns green when you are online, then the rep icon, then the flag (for flagging a mod in case of problem) and then the female symbol.

Ivy I just noticed now that you added lots of info to your post and it's fantastic! I'm so pleased to have such a valuable contributor! You're quite right that some of the pictures in the catalogue are a bit ambiguous. Tomorrow I'll go and purchase these puzzling ornaments and test them out. We'll attach your info to my first post somehow.
Now I can hardly keep my eyes open, so good night! See you in the morning! Last edited by Webberlily; 10-19-2008 at 03:44 AM.. I really didn't want to make a new thread. I agree that it should all be in one place.
BTW, I discoverd an error having to do with the group labels. I've edited my post to fix it. If you have already downloaded it then please grab it again. Thanks so much!

One way to add the information I've posted to your first post is to just put in a link to my post. To get a link that will jump people to a particular post, left click on the post number (in the upper right corner of the post) and select "Copy Shortcut". Then you can paste that shortcut into your 1st post. Last edited by IvyKinz; 10-19-2008 at 03:48 AM..
