I think a lot of animal lovers out there would buy one of these stuft animals. Even people who do not play webkinz or dont know what webkinz is might buy a pet. I mean some old lady could be shopping in the store and see a webkinz. She would bu it because it is cute and it helps animals. I think we should start a petition. I will start a petition. Yeah! Lets start a petition! I would definitly buy one. Maybe we should all contact Ganz!

Wonderful idea! I am a big fan of Animal Planet, and every day, I watch the "animal cops" show, and I feel bad for all those animals in the shelters that never get adopted... It'd be so nice if Ganz would do this! I wouldn't mind paying even ten dollars more if I knew that I'd be helping animals!

I love your idea! I have been begging my parents to let me adopt this poor little beagle at my local shelter. They always say no so I have been looking for different ways to save those animals! I think i would buy a ton of Webkinz Shelter pets if Ganz would just make them!

I think that is a brilint idea. Since most people who like webkinz probley like animals. So if ganz started a program like you said. Ganz could save the helpless animals. At least that will make me happy.
P.S. did you know black cats are mostly left in shelters!

This is a great idea! My missing cat, Kia, was adopted by me from a shelter when I was 5. Having had her for over half my life, I know I made her happier, and I hope she returns soon. I would buy EVERY SINGLE SHELTER PET if this happened. I hope it does.

This is,without a doubt, one of the absolute BEST ideas I've ever heard in my life. (Not exaggerating here!) I really hope Ganz sees this idea and gives it consideration. I would DEFINITELY buy many of these pets,and I'd love to have all those ideas put into Webkinz! This is totally awesome. Rep for you! I hope other members see this and feel compelled to comment,and perhaps give a shelter a look!
