I am really scared to trade sometimes, because I think they will bring the item back sooner or later. I don't like how they do this, because people who may have traded a lot of it, get it ruined because they bring it back...
EX:
Blue Dragster--Replica, not exactly bringing it back but...
Other Replicas-- Same thing ^^^^^
Some seasonal themes
What if they bring back plumpy? Or bunny ears? or Witch Hat? Or Click-To-Wins (Alvin)?
I don't want them to do this, and I am afraid they will someday...What do you think? | | | 10-16-2009, 11:50 PM | #2 | ow! I hate it when they do that, It's not fair to those who have the items they tried so hard to get! I still think this and the highest priced item I have is the Icecream Tree! | | | 10-16-2009, 11:52 PM | #3 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 760 | Re: Once you retired something, don't bring it back? I think once something is retired, it is retired. They might bring back a replica, but it will still not be worth as much as the original retired item.
Judge your trades on how much you like something, not just its value. It may be that something that is fairly common makes you happy. I have seen Webkinz rooms really decorated well with ordinary things from the W Shop.
So think about what you really want and concentrate on that! | | | 10-16-2009, 11:59 PM | #4 | ish you peace Gift Guru Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 105,172 | Re: Once you retired something, don't bring it back? I don't much care for the replicas either, but I can see why Ganz keeps putting them out and why people buy them. (Ganz is trying to make money and people buy because they don't think they'll ever be able to get them otherwise - and they're probably right, trading for priceless usually requires priceless.) On the plus side, I don't think the priceless items would ever lose any of their value because Ganz made it so that replicas cannot be traded/KinzPosted and if you have an original, you and the people you try to trade with know it. | | | 10-17-2009, 12:08 AM | #5 | Spring is here! I worry that if I trade something it will increase in value | | | 10-17-2009, 07:25 PM | #6 | Inuyasha is a Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 566 | Re: Once you retired something, don't bring it back? I kind of agree because the haunted organ was retired last year and then it came back. | | | 10-17-2009, 07:27 PM | #7 | mmrawr Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 11,448 | Re: Once you retired something, don't bring it back? but why won't you want them to come back

the haunted organ wasn't really retired it just wasn't puti n I think they mean that if you work hard to get a rare item, then ganz brings that rare item back. Then the item you worked so hard to get is worth nothing. | | | 10-18-2009, 05:45 PM | #9 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 46,642 | Re: Once you retired something, don't bring it back? I agree with you - Ganz has brought back so many retired items, and I've traded away some of those items when they were retired! Now I feel like those trades weren't even worth it because the values are different now. Great idea - rep points for you! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
