Free webkinz codes in card packs

We finally resovled our frog issue. It took Webkinz support a few days to call us back... they gave us a new code for the Golden Retriever and we got to keep the frog! They are really nice at Webkinz!! Thank you!!!

Yes it did. I got 2 frogs and the pictures were a frog and a monkey.

alright, this happened to me (only i got a monkey) and i've seen these threads all over, so here's how they work, just to clear things up.

1) the picture of the pet on the card is the pet species you are supposed to get, however, pick a name that will work for anything because you never know what will happen

2) if you do end up with a frog and the picture is of something else, that's not right and it can be taken care of

3) if that happens, email ganz at support@webkinz.com

4) they will give you their telephone number and a customer service code that you have to have in order to talk to a representative

5) call them and tell them what happened. read the free pet code off to the person, (have your un and pw ready) and they should call back within 10 or so minutes

6) then they will give you a code that is for the correct species, but they won't remove your mess-up pet

*NOTE* this also works with brand-new "already been used" codes.

Wow never heard of that before. when it said i got a panda it was really a panda. that really stinks!

I have found 2 virtual pet codes in my packs. When I found the first one it was a picture of a golden retriever and I ended up giving it to one of students because I had heard that it would turn out to be another frog (I have all the frogs). Anyway, he used the code and got...a golden retriever.

Later I found a card with a code for a monkey, I figured Ganz had fixed the problem, I entered my code and got...a frog. I emailed ganz. They emailed me back with a problem number and instructed me to call them. When I called they gave me a proper code for the monkey and also let me keep the extra frog and its gifts. They were very nice about it. I will admit that it took a bit of time, but in the end I was really happy wiht the way things worked out.

I just got one today for a frog. I wonder if it will be a monkey

I got a monkey card. After I registered it a window popped up telling me to choose which kind of pet I had. The choices were frog and panda. I have a new frog now.

Now that I've read this thread I'll have to contact Ganz, I really would have preferred the monkey!

i actually won two also one was a panda that came out to be a panda and the other was a frog that came out to be a frog
