All it really means is that you can't feed Doug at the same rate that you get things from Arte. I actually like the way it is because if it were too easy, everyone would instantly have all the items and no one would value them at all. I don't like how the number and rarity is somewhat variable, but the fact that he wants multiple gems is good I think.

I checked all zones except gold which I can't. I don't know how to post a chart. I checked two rooms in each color.

He doesn't ask for that many, he does however ask for more valuable gems. He could ask for 2 or 3 rares for example.
