That is too bad, but I kind of understand the reasoning behind it. WI is not affiliated with WW so WW can not guarantee user safety on WI if it was to be an allowable topic in KC+.

I do however think that a 30 day ban is a bit much and a warning would be better suited. Ganz really should find a better way to moderate KC+ so that people who are not being malicious do not get banned. I have seen so many rude things go on and I do not know if they got the ban but I feel for you!

Aww, I'm sorry you got banned, too... Two messages between 30 seconds? That's a little bit quick. I wish it was just a week or somewhat like that. Just not a month or more. I'm not a Doug tracker, but yes, at least we have regular KinzChat (though I really prefer KinzChat PLUS more).

That's probably the reason, too. I'm pretty sure they just allow site that is by Ganz/Webkinz. I think now they are moderating rooms... Just only looking for people who talk about sites and not language? I've seen a lot of people using language that I don't think is appropriate and I still see them everyday (before). I hope the ban goes by fast, too!

Yes, I agree. Even though it is terrible to get banned from the clubhouse, I can see how it is important to make sure members remain anonymous. Imagine if a person with bad intentions decided to stalk someone on a forum. Ganz wants to be sure that you aren't meeting up with the wrong people.

Sometimes I see threads here that say "I am looking for the owner of a certain pet named (whatever) that was just in blue room number (whatever) and that is the safer way to meet someone from WI that you see on WW.. remembering that we don't share personal info here and the mods watch that.

I will be a bit cynical (sarcastic/slightly rude), but this is what I'm seeing here with the bans speaking on WI:

1. The people don't get that it's actually a GOOD site on Webkinz and not a place where you're getting cheats and other things that can mess up their servers. If this is the case, they need to have a quick lesson and looksee at this site and realize it's more of a board that has a fond devotion/fandom to their group.

It is very easy to presume that they think that this site is not a good one, and therefore the ban would be legitimate.

2. They do know - see it as competition to their Webkinz Newz site, and ban people so they'll only talk about That particular site. Their right of course; however, I've found it to be lacking in information on a regular basis.

Frankly - I've felt that way since on their main page? - It still says the search for the magical retriever is on. we've been at Mystical Panda for nearly a year now... but the main board hasn't changed one bit.

That's really unfair. My friend told me about this, somebody getting banned a while ago for talking about WI in the clubhouse. So, now me and her just say Webkinz in while in the clubhouse. If i get banned for that, Ganz is going to get a phone call from a very unhappy member

Oh my gosh! I am soo sorry! Maybe that was why I was banned! I was trading and I asked a love monkey where she got the cool recipes. She said Webkinz Insider. I said thanks. And then we both left! It was probably 2 days later, I was playing pool with a friend and it said I was banned for 2 days!!!!!!! That is really unfair - shouldn't they give a warning? Ugh, that is just silly! People talk about club penguin or whatever all the time and are never banned! (I know, 'cause one is my friend =P, LOL) That is just crazy! You have it worse though, I know. Sooooo sooooo soooo sooooo soooooo sorry!!!! Totally unfair! (So maybe nobody reported me, at all. I was really curious about my mystery reporting!)

I wish they gave a warning; yes. I never knew there was a two day ban... It's just like accidently dropping a pencil at school and you have to go to detention already - for about, a month.
