How do you claim ghost candy prize?

Just wondering if someone has encountered the same problem with the ghost that I have.

I collected all the candy for my account and immediately traded it in for the pumpkin. I collected all the candy for my daughter's prize, but didn't claim the prize, hoping she could choose her pumpkin later.

Now, it won't let me click the unlock button at the bottom of my full candy screen. Is there a trick to this? I even went in the clubhouse and clicked on the ghost again. It said it was giving me another red licorice candy, but I still couldn't unlock the prize.
