Doug Frustrations

I see Doug a couple times a week, and I've traded with him more times than I count. I have plenty of gems to trade and I ALWAYS have what he wants. I've never got anything but the rocky road ice cream cone.

I wonder how many times you have to trade gems with Dough to start getting the more advanced prizes.

*Does it depend on sheer number of gems you have in your collection?

OR

*Do you have to trade a thousand times before you get the higher level prizes?

I'm so confused!!?!?!?!?!

With Doug, you ALWAYS have to use the same pet. Every time. I dressed my panther in a pirate costume (pirate=treasure hunter) to remind myself that he is the one I used last. If you use a different pet each time, you will get the same gift EVERY time. Hope this helps!

Dutchmother is absolutely right! You don't say if you are switching pets, but find one pet and always use that one. I have made the mistake of going to Doug with the wrong pet, hitting the X once I realize my mistake, switching pets to the one pet I need, and then going back to Doug. However, by that time, Doug won't let me try again. So, make sure when you are looking for Doug, get your "Doug pet" first and have fun earning your new prizes!!
