Because if he's not here at the beginning of the hour in 1 zone he won't be here for the rest of the hour. Once he shows up, he's here for the hour. If he doesn't show up, he's not here and we try again next hour.

Also, once he has shown up in a Color zone, he won't be back in that zone, so it cuts having to look for him in that zone again. Kinda makes the job a BIT easier

Hey, I have a question about doug. Can doug ask for the same gem twice? For example: If one day doug asks you for a Lava Lump and another day he asks you for a Lava Lump and a Rainbow Flower. Could this happen? I'm just wondering lol

yep. i've had doug ask for to rainbow flowers at one time.
