It's only polite to reciprocate. If you give them the same amount, it's very polite but also a bit silly, isn't it? you both end up with the same amount that you started with, minus the service charge. You could give them a rep point... or you could send a PM to thank them or post your thanks in their profile, although those last two seem a bit stingy?

What's the proper way to respond to a gift? I just got faced with this problem too. I sent them a thank you PM and i plan on eventually surprising them with a bigger gift in a few weeks.
