I need Help. There is something wrong with customizing my profile!

For some reason I can't get a background picture to show up on my profile page and i'm not sure why. Every time I try to put the URL link into the area for the background code, it either doesn't work or says it's invalid. Can someone please help me?

what I usually do is upload my background pictures to tinypic.com then goto my profile and and then upload from there.

I'm not entirely sure what everyone is experiencing here, as I'm not seeing any problems... Let me make sure that everyone is using the correct method for the background images:

You must create an album for profile images. There are 3 selections: Public, Private, Profile.

Once you have created that album, upload your background images to it. Then go to Customize profile and click the small picture button next to the background image field. Then, click the image. I tried it on Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8 and all of them worked. Here's the picture button I am talking about, along with the dialog it pops up for background image choice.

It's happened to alot of people, including me. I dont know why! Just keep trying different images untill one works. Untill then, I would suggest contacting a mos or admin for some help, or finding a forum that tells about putting background images on your profile page. I know there's one, because that's how I learned to get my background, but I dont have the link!
