Well it looks like you can separate the figures from the ornaments, but I have no idea how you can tell which particular one it is. I did something similar. I put them in my advent calender for my son. I had to take them out of the package to make them fit. Some of the big ones would only fit in certain doors which I found out too late so I rearranged the ornaments but forgot to move the codes. Today my son went to log in a raccoon and we got a panda. I had no idea what to say when he asked about it so I just used one of his lines "I dunno". LOL Good luck with your dilemma and thanks for the smile!

I did have a good laugh at your expense though I find myself in similar predicaments due to wanting to hide the evidence too!!

My husband would think I went nuts knowing I had 27 pets and counting...I only started this in April 2008..Hopefully you can tell them apart.

Should your husband find out, let him know he can be thankful that he is not married to my friend or I. I started in April she started in May we each have over 150 Webkinz now. And we still act like a couple of fools checking out every store in the state "looking for webbies we do not have"

this is so hilarious . i have not seen the ornaments in any store near me. they all say they couldnt even order them from ganz. limited too was supposed to get them but has not received them yet. well thanks to Dixiecup and Webberlily for getting the answer they are always so helpful. thanks for the laugh funsilly and i hope it doesnt take to long to get the ornaments sorted

I started doing this too! Not only to hide the evidence, but because we are running out of room (my boys already had a large collection of non-webkinz stuffed animals before we started this madness). And, that's my justification for buying the estore pets!

I haven't done this, but may in the future. I bought about 20 figures a while back and hid the evidence in my spare backpack. I opened the packs and pulled out the codes, leaving the figures still in the packaging. I also bought a box of TC1 cards at that time. In my backpack was a shopping bag of empty TC packs and about 10 figures. My DH needed the backpack last weekend. I totally forgot about the evidence. Down the stairs he came with everything and gave me that "you got some explaining to do" look. I plead that it was a long time ago, lol

I'm making a list... checking it twice... for all the eager little shoppers who separated their codes from their ornaments prematurely, or in a wild panic trying to hide the "evidence"....

These are the item numbers. They are always the same for the same item, they are not secret, they are printed on the package for all to see, and also on the same bitty piece of paper as the secret feature code.

For the Christmas Tree Ornaments, all of them begin with WE000 and also have a B26 on the lower right. All credit goes to Dixiecup for noticing this, here is what she said:
