I wear make-up, do my hair, wear fancy clothes, trying to impress Jacob, and I realized I wasn't being myself. I mean, I always do those daily, but it seemed I was putting on more makeup I didn't need, was straightening my hair every morning until it was the straightest possible(it's usually just straightened in the morning, regularly, but I was freaking out about it), and even wearing fancier clothes than the modern things teens my age wear. I started flirting with him a bit, but acted like the friends we are. We've been friends for two years.

I'm popular in my school, but am not stuck-up. Some of the popular girls seriously hate each other, but don't show it. They talk behind each other's backs, and then they're best friends with each other the next day. They can't say sorry to each other's faces, and fights happen while text messaging. But, there's some popular girls like myself and Gianna who act nice and just know a lot of people.

Of course, I went home and cried. I'm not mad at Gianna, but I thought Jacob liked me. Break-ups happen often, but, I wish Gianna will stay with him for a long time. She goes through a lot of boyfriends, though. I still like Jacob, but I'm not going to do anything mean to make them break up.

We'll see what the future brings...
