Yes, the old calendar did have it and we changed it. You can say, once when I was in 3rd grade this happened. You can not say, 4yrs ago when i was in 3rd grade this happened, then we would know what grade you are in.

Ok, so saying "When I was in 4th grade...." is fine but "When I was in 4th grade 80 years ago...." isn't?

correct, cause if you are in 10th lets say and you go when i was in 3rd grade 7yrs ago. I would know that you are in 10 grade right now. Just say, when I was in 3rd grade and leave it at that.
