Alright good. My anger at the whole situation, the whole cancer thing in general, seems to be eating up my words lately. I know that right now they need the signature more than ever, and I wish I could bring myself to right something with more substance.

really substance doesnt even matter! lol... you can just say Hello so they know you stopped by... it doesnt have to be some long thought out thing... trust me i know the feeling about eating up words... it pains me every time I talk to my sister I hardly ever know what to say... I mean you can only say so much right... so we try not to talk about it at all we just talk about other stuff... i think thats why we are all hooked on webkinz cuz it gives us something to do other than sit around staring at our feet thinking how awful this whole thing is..

I know how you feel. When my aunt's son was diagnosed with cancer, the first time I talked to her at the phone there was just dead silence on my end on the phone, I could not for the life of me think of anything to say. At least I know now that I am not the only one to do that, and that I am not crazy. Okay, well, maybe I still am crazy.

lol Lily maybe your webkinz crazy.. nah its the same.. I mean, Philip has been sick for 6 years, theyve been told once that he had six weeks to llive or so and twice they have been told he only had a few days to live... its like, what can you really say... I'm sorry.. .that *****?? ??? nothing you can say really can make any difference... plus honestly i gthink it must be tiring that people always say how sorry they feel for you... i mean... i dont relly thnk it helps, i think it actually helps more that people are just normal instead.. like hi hows it going... hows your day... yeah i know your day s ucks but how is it anyway... cuz frankly it could be worse right... i guess i kind of look at everything in perspective... 10 weeks ago they said he had 24-48 hrs to live... so since he beat that .. it could only be better than it was 10 weeks ago right? Not really but you know what I mean... it breaks my heart every time i talk to my mom or my dad or my sister... they just sound so weary... its heart breaking... anyway Im rambling because I just got home from dinner and there may have been drinks involved lol... all they want is normaly... they dont want you to feel sorry for them or anything like that... they just want you to say Hi and I bet that goes for your aunt too...

You're not crazy at all and I will say that I too have a very hard time leaving messages for Philip. It's very easy to let the saddness and anger over the situation block the words. Most times I actually make myself do it but have found it easier if I have a slide show, joke or silly bird story so it always a happy post

I find it easier to write to him about silly stories or rooms I've made with my webkinz - it gives him (and hopefully his parents) something to distract them for the day and I enjoy goofing off like that.

I know Jazicat and Hmm do the same thing .. you could always try that Lily!

Philip started using webkinz when he was bedridden in August of 2007 in ICU and they didnt know if he was gonna pull through.. my mom got all the adults a webkinz each so we could send him Kinz post... thats how we got started... then it blossomed into this thing that we all had in common, somethng besides cancer... my mom has her own account and my dad plays a lot of games in the arcade.. philip has 3 accts and probably 150 pets... my sister is huge into trading and collecting... and i'm into trading etc... its something to distract us and its something fun and non cancer related that we can chat about and laugh about and have a good time... we handle each others accounts when the other is out of town or stuck at the hospital etc... get rares for each other etc... its just something fun
