Ok, so I've been BFFs with Au since about 2 days into the school year. We had this survey thing, and we had to choose some one we hadn't meant before, and Au picked me. We started the survery and we had a lot in common. We both like art, achery, we have the same middle name, the same favorite colors, neither of us liked sports, so it was like instant. Well these pas couple weeks I've been hanging out with Ca,Cu,Ai,Ma,Mo, and Sa. As you can see, I have a very large group of friends. Well lately, Both sides of me at lunch have been surrounded with Cu and Ca. Au is kind of needy, so this is kind of annoying her. Au also has another Bff, whom we agreed she could hang out with whenever she wanted and it wouldn't bother me. I keep telling Ca that I can sit with Au too, but she doesn't wanna hear it. So Monday, Au came up and told Ai to scooch down. Ai refused. There was a ton of space on the other side of the tabe so I said, "Au, there's room on the other side of the table. I bet you could fit there" and she was like "Exactly. So move over there" I responded, "Maybe Wednesday" (Tuesday she has focus which s somehting for the smartest people in our grade) I just feel like I'm being flat out mean to Au and I don't know what to do. I want to keep all my friends because they are all really nice.

Then we run into another problem. Ca and Cu put their jackets right where they want me to sit. I usually don't see another spot where I can squeeze (Au is about half my size) and If there is, Ca and Cu move to wherever I'm sitting

Sounds to me that some of your friends are not as thoughtful as you. Choose your friends wisely. Everybody has more than one friend.

Au has only 2. I admit, Ca can be inconsiderate at times, but Cu has always been the 'all-around nice guy' as our group calls him.

Maybe you could set up a system where you all 'rotate' seating positions each day?? So, each day everyone shifts and sits next to someone different in the group.

I'll try your suggestion, Desty. Ca can be stubborn, but you just have to butter her up with a cookie.

Maybe just take a break one day. Get a table first (if you can) and then save a seat for Au. Ca & Cu can sit there too, but Au can have the seat next to you
