With October being National Pizza Month, Who will help Little Red Hen make a Pizza? "Not I," said the duck, "Not I," said the dog and "Not I," said the cat. While Little Red Hen looked for help, others just ordered pizza and waited for the delivery man in Hi, Pizza Man. But what if a Dinosaur delivered the pizza? Would you say Hi Pizza Man or Hi Pizza Dinosaur?. What if a Cow delivered the pizza? Of course I would say, "Hi Pizza Cow!" These are a couple of books, out of many, that are available to be read, if you ever just wanted to read about pizza. Who knew that reading about something you enjoy eating could be soo much fun?
Most everyone loves to eat pizza. Whether you go out to a restaurant, order it or make it yourself, pizza is yummy no matter how it reaches your table. Did you know that:
- the average American eats 23 pounds of pizza a year? (that is about 46 slices)
- Pizza is a $32 Billion per year industry!
- There are over 61,000 pizzerias in the US, which represent 17% of all restaurants.
- 93% of Americans eat at least one pizza per month
- According to a recent Gallop Poll, children between the ages of 3and 11 prefer PIZZA over all other food groups for lunch and dinner.
